We've also grown thicker skins so that we can take a bit of good natured ribbing from our peers. At least that's how mine was intended. The pictured jeep is a very desirable vehicle, perhaps there's simple envy involved, instead of viscousness?

Jack it up SECURELY. crawl under there with engine running and listen/feel for leak. Replacing cats instead of fixing leak is total foolishness.

I've had a couple different rigs with a wench, always held em at fast idle when using it. Best setup is a secondary battery, charging off vehicle alternator, but output available only to wench.

P.S. Leak, three likely suspects. Hose, pump, rack. Any of them require moderate skill level, hose or pump either easier than rack. Continue with ATF+4.

The part you've pictured is the rear, secondary converter. Honestly, your Jeep will do just as well with it completely off as on. The secondary seldom ever goes bad(and has nothing to do with codes) unless one of the primaries goes bad and pieces of it clog the secondary. O2 sensors measure...
" cant tell if the window is full of antifreeze glaze as it was raining/snowing yesterday and the windows naturally fogged."
Don't take much AF to have that distinct taste/smell. Even if you have no prior experience, I suppose you could try being a "winder licker".:bleh:

"I actually got water inside my shock that's blown, and now it freezes. "
Reminded my of an old codger came in my shop waaay back in the 80's with his mid 60's Chev pu. He'd put the front shocks on himself, they had metal dust shields and he'd mounted one correctly, but put the other on upside...
Only about 4 real options;
Sell it. Either to some unsuspecting sob or piece at a time.
Fix it. Either yourself, or hire it done. One takes a lot of skill and a bit of cash, the other only requires a pillowcase or two full of hundreds.
Trade it. After 4 years of service (though you...

If there's no white smoke (steam)
Oil's not milky
No visible leaks,
Not boiling over
Coolant stays the same,
No miss or running rough,
Common sense tells that it's highly unlikely to have a head gasket leak. How did your technician arrive at that conclusion? Sounds like he may have...
I usually hit the like button when a post lightens my mood or (almost) makes me grin. Or, a reasonably intelligent, pertinent post in a thread of dumb shit posts, conversely, a dumb shit post in a reasonably intelligent, pertinent thread.
