I have a Bluetooth obd2 module and connect to my phone running an app called Dash Command. Some users prefer the Torque Pro app but I wasn't a fan.
I attached a pic of the one I use.
Also its definitely my compressor. Have you had any issues with your ac when it was running hot? I'm thinking...
I believe my electric fan comes on with ac or 219°
Funny thing is I just ran into this issue today too. Would run very hot with ac on going up some big highway hills. I had my scanner connected and it got to 230 once but stayed around 226. I turned the ac off and it went to 219. Which is still...
Damn what happened? Too close to property line or too big?
They were dragging their feet on our building permit even after approving our zoning permit and electrical permit. So we just went with a different design to keep it under the limit a building permit is required for.
Also update on...
Instead of ordering a shed I ended up building one with my gfs brother. First time for both of us.
16x12ft and probably 18-20ft tall. The town kept dicking us around on the permit for the 20x10 shed I wanted to order. They also wanted a 3ft concrete foundation for anything over 200sqf. Glad we...
Ratchet straps or have a big friend push on the body.
Can also put jackstands so the rear axle is just off the ground at full droop. Put a dolly under each rear wheel. This will make it easier but I was able to do it with a friend pushing on the body.
Bilstein shocks are digressive and can feel harsh/stiff because of this. I have the 5100s and I wish I went with Fox shocks because they are progressively valved.
I have the JBA coilovers but I'm pretty sure they are bilsteins built to his custom specs.
Being able to adjust them is pretty...
I couldn't tell a difference when I removed the rear sway bar. I would remove it. The additional flex is worth it. Just inspect your brake line length. You may need to get the extended lines or make a drop bracket. I wrote a guide on how to make the bracket for $10 or less in the how to section...
Same, if I couldn't afford a JKU (which I can't) I'd go with a Grand Cherokee. The v8 would be nice but the 4.0 will be much easier/cheaper to fix and much more reliable.
I wouldn't want to cut into that loom either. I would find an ignition switched circuit on the fuse box and use an add-a-fuse directly to the switch wiring or you can run a relay but those leds really aren't pulling any significant amount of power to require a relay.
This comes from experience, and/or having a mentor, and/or copying what you've seen others use successfully.
You can also look up the rated strength for specific parts and do some math.
Take the minimum yield in psi of the ASTM grade (y), multiplied by the stress area of the specific...
I am using a similar mount on the space between the drivers tail light and the body. I have a 4ft antenna on a spring with a tennis ball on the antenna where it makes contact with the body.
These are stills from a video so the quality isn't too great but you can see what I'm talking about.
