    You are OCD HJ. Just sayin.... Boot on or off? I guess it depends on if you plan to wheel and where you plan to do said wheeling. I did not install the boots on mine. Had on my old ones and when I took them off to replace stuff I found a crap load of dirt under there. I wash everything...

    My first Jeep was a 1977 Grand Wagoneer. Wood grain and all. 360/auto/quadratrac. Drove the crap out of it in highschool and really enjoyed it at the drive in.

    Hey Tim, your sway bar end link might not be bent but your CV shaft is pointing up (the wrong way). I'm absolutely certain that that is not an illusion. Get your lift in already. Don't make me drive out there to do it for you!! I would you know. Yeah, I would.:smokin:

    Hose connected to strut bolt?

    Jake, it sounds like the vent hose for the front diff. The other end of the offensive piece of rubber should be hose clamped to the wee fitting on the front diff cover.

    Wow Mitch, they're regular prices are out to lunch. An M8000 can be had for less than $700 taxes in and the wireless controller goes for about $125. All local, no shipping. Le fromage qui faites quik-quik might be cheap but you guys in Quebec are getting fourrer bein dur par le dealer la...

    What's missing from your KJ that the build sheet says it has?

    I've had my '05 Renegade since new and it does not have that wee strip of rubber across the top of the windshield. Got a part number? Was it an addition during the windshield replacement? I don't think I've seen that rubber on any other KJ. Cool.

    Been spending any more time than usual with the t-case engaged? That would account for the quicker decceleration and reduced mpgs. The u-joint might account for the noise, get under the KJ and check it.
