the guys on bobs all like the Bosch filters, said the premium one ie the model below are similar to a Pure one.
Biggest complaint was price. The D+ model was more than some full synthetic media filters, specifically the RP and wix XP/Napa Plat, Fram Ultra XG series.
If you must have a...
out of curosity, you plow in part time Hi or Low? I remember mine not being a problem to crawl through snow in low even with the wheel on the stops.
If you pull the abs fuse, i doubt it would intervene past the light being on.
Other possible options are to fault one of your wheel speed...
Low range disables a bunch of the throttle stability stuff. If that is satisfactory slippage, try looking at messing with transfer case selector switch while in high range, the resistances are listed on this forum somewhere. Light will be incorrect but might work.
If that is insufficient...
If you unplug the pig tail it will stop automatically opening. You will have to use your fob.
Mine died and no amount of oil could resurrect it.
I think the button is 15 bucks if your parts department can find the part number. Results on ordering replacement vary.
my ram also has the same recommendation on 75w140, I got -38 C this morning, it was also thick / frozen.
have a look for some 80w140 grades to add to your comparison, probably what i'm going with next. 75w90 is more expensive than 75w140 in my neck of the woods.
For on road nav Garmin all the way.
Bought my first in 2009 been updating maps whenever i remember. Off road doesn't seem likely unless its a more established road network ie gravel or still a road. for sub 100 bucks on sale with lifetime map updates its worth every penny. Won't be 7...
the trans tube is a differnt length but the pan is the same. buy a 2006 dip stick to check or the Miller special tool and make some estimates on temperature of trans fluid.
LTT on lost used to 3D print dip stick extensions for his 2007 and even PML recast their trans pan so the dipstick would...
x 7 on phillips xtreme vision.
had GE nighthawk plat. less than 2 years before blown. Wasn't better. Also had one of the sylvanias same story.
phillips 9007 were cheaper and lasted 3 plus till i sold. Light output was also better.
Tensioner and belt are excellent ideas.
Just be sure its not your water pump. If so hoses and thermostat at the same time.
Mine started making noise well in advance and had some movement in the pulley.
Other option I did after i removed the front air dam to address rubbing in front of front tires was to wedge something between tire and the wheel liner.
block of wood, soft ball, golf ball, hammer, whatever was the right size and heat it up till you chicken out and let it cool on its own...
Ditch it. When you replace your rear UCA its in the way.
Towed my boat for years (3000lbs) no difference. The flex is limited though it is, is worth it.
If you have the part time transfer case use it when the road is slicker than snot. IE not when its raining.
Its a real 4wd system that locks front and rear driveshafts.
If you got full time you can practically leave it in.
Thanks for feedback Bert. Glad at least that part worked out for you over Christmas. Hopefully you get that KJ back on the road with a new roof skin. Nice looking JK. 305's?
