'12 KK transmission dipstick?
Original install was rtv silicone as a gasket. That is pretty typical. I can’t recall if mine had a mopar or non-mopar filter. -
2006 liberty limited automatic transmission failed
Just a guess, but I think you buy their ‘in the box’ reman and return yours for a core. Probably no way to tell on the replacement unit.- DadOSix

Belt tensioner >> stripped@@*.* << mounting bracket
I read both posts - not much experience from me on CRD jeeps, but … It *now* sounds like you stripped the bolt that holds the pulley to the tensioner bracket. Why not pull the tensioner out of the jeep and see if you can repair the mounting hole with a threaded insert ? They used to be called...- DadOSix

HOW TO: Change Transfer Case Position Switch
There is nothing on the dash when you are in 2wd. The lamp shows when the transfer case is in other than 2wd. My 06 is a bit different that my 04. But I do think that 04 shows “part-time” when in 4Hi -
Hard brake pedal and hard to stop
Caliper binding / or not re-installed correctly Pinched brake line / hose Brake line in the frame damaged when you were doing UCA’s (on the KJ - that funky captive nut with a flag to keep in place can and will clip the brake line if it gets away from you. Not sure on KK - never saw one up close...- DadOSix

So, what you took off is the OEM style. The 660545 picture is a new version - what is important is the white nylon clip. It should look the same (more or less) as to what you took off. Front regulator: Has a wide nylon clip Rear Regulator: Has a narrow nylon clip to hold the window. I can’t make my picture paste over on the ipad. Maybe you can post the part number from Rockauto?- DadOSix

2003 KJ - fail of 4wd for a short time.
Also - please be aware that just because the dash lite says you are in 4, or part time, does not necessarily mean it is so. The transfer case switch gets ‘gummy’ and the indicator is not accurate. A new mopar switch will solve this, if that is what it is. The person I got my 06 from, also...- DadOSix

low oil pressure after general inspection. KJ 2006 3.7
The engine should be warmed up - so water temp here would be 175F to about 205F. I think a new sensor should solve the oil pressure light problem.- DadOSix

Agreed with all of the above! If you run into a failure, dont just start changing parts. It is cheaper in the long run to diagnose rather than guess due to a scanner code.- DadOSix

With LibertyTc's chart, it looks like you are in range. Leaking thru the switch is likely the issue. Replace it and that should get rid of the light. Use Mopar part if you can get it. I am surprised the curb idle psi is so low on that chart.- DadOSix

Re-visiting my siren problem
Re- reading the orignal thread and this, you mention a ‘siren’ - As far as I know, the jeep KJ series used the vehicle horn to alert on the system. If you do have a siren, it seems to indicate an after-market alarm kit. If that is so, you might need to crawl under the dash and see if there...- DadOSix

The only way to tell for sure is to attach a mechanical gauge to the engine and see the actual pressure. That oil sender is just a ‘switch’ and they can send a low pressure signal at times. Perhaps the port (orifice) on the switch is plugged up or partially obstructed by oil sludge. Also...- DadOSix
