Find a transmission shop that has a Snap On Modis Ultra scanner. Get a print out of all the current & pending codes.
This scanner can also read the CVi - clutch volume index codes.

Record on paper any stored codes present.
Known issue with electrical, 2 wire pigtail speedometer sensor above rear differential may be chaffed.

Since we are talking spark plugs, here are the correct listing of kJ and KK plugs with gap listed.
More than likely TCM ? May recommend finding a shop with a "snap on scanner" (Modis Ultra) and see if any other codes appear.

I wonder, if you were to disconnect the temp sensor connector, would it then allow the electrical fan to run continuously at high speed?
