Idk if the center shaft was flush with the crank pulley but close. I just screwed the but back on and it looks like its close to where it was, it being the center shaft the pulley is on. Should I just crank down harder on the pulley puller? It got very hard to turn that's when i stoped and made...
Well the center hole of the pulley was flush with the crank after turning the puler it has moved probably 1/4" to 1/2" back. I have pics just dont know how to post them. I tried kroil and some heat. Nothing. There isn't any more bolts besides the center bolt?
So I'm trying to do a head gasket Nov on my 02 Libby 3.7. I'm down to removing the crank pulley and I'm stuck. I have a 3 has puller in it at the tabs. Made sure everything was straight. The problem is as im cranking down on the wrench, the pulley won't move but the crank(?) or whatever the...
So I just stuck my finger in the rear diff hole. Got dark gray gunk on my finger but didn't touch any fluid. My finger went about 1.5" in the hole. I have gear oil at the house. Will add some when i get home.
So I've put about 400 miles on it. No smoke. Did get a p0304 so I removed that plug and saw some oil coating the plug. Cleaned it off and all back to normal. So I'm just not rly going to worry bout it. As long as it's running fine. Just trying to figure out the whine while driving now.
Ok. I am having a whine while driving. I can literally let off gas and it goes quite then press on the gas and it comes back. Sounds like some fresh mid grapples almost, kinda high pitch. Will do it some when decelerating. Sometimes on slowing down it gets super loud. I'll two gas and it will go...
The liby sat for a few months, that's the only other thing I can think of to cause some while smoke. When I first start it there really isn't any smoke but then it gradually starts. Not much though. Like it would do on a cold morning traveling 1 maybe 2 feet b4 disappearing. I cleared the codes...
Ok so I decided to run it again and no more white smoke. Now it runs good. Finally popped up a p0158 o2 sensor b2s2. Also it now is smoking blue. I did leave the pass side manifold v band loose, never pulled the pipes apart though. Could that cause the o2 code? And how could the smoke change...
Donor car has Been totaled. Would snatch it off then take it to be tested to see if its good or need rebuilding. It should be good though. Most cars there were running just wrecked.
