2002 KJ Fuel Rail

Folks, I have a leaky fuel rail on my 02 Liberty. I replaced the old engine with a remanufactured and I think it may be damaged. Can this be fixed, replaced, or is there a work around? Any help is appreciated.

Input is appreciated. Restoring the liberty has been a welcomed challenge that I've enjoyed so far.... except when I see that parts aren't available. As for the fuel rail, I noticed online that some places may offer custom fuel rails, not sure what the cost is for that, we'll see.

Since you said upthread 3.7, I would take a hard look at the rail to injector connection (socket) as it were. The injector has o-rings on the top of it and if one is nicked or dry-rotted, it can cause leaks. Can you isolate exactly where you see the rail leaking? Helpful tip - if it is an o-ring, do them all while you have the rail pulled off.

It's not any of the fuel injectors. It's the front part of the rail where it swivels a bit. Looks like it's crimpted.

It would be safer to replace it to prevent a fire.

I have redone my valve covers, because of an oil leak, and to get to them everything on top was removed. I didn't even know I had a leaky fuel rail until I got to that point and you could smell it with a little liquid present. I ended up getting one from 1A Auto or Rock Auto (don't recall) and no issues after getting everything hooked back up. Not difficult but just buried a little. Supposed to have a "special tool" (made of plastic) to unhook I believe.

Hey thanks yall. I took the rail to a mechanic and it was disassembled, the rubber o rings replaced and then tightened back up. See picture. There's a Grey spacer o ring, the top and yellow rings were replaced, and it got crimped back down really good. The engine is running right now without any noticeable leak, gonna keep an eye on it however in order to ensure no issues. I have some used rails coming from ebay purchases, I'll keep one as a back up since they're hard to find. A1 auto may have them still based on a previous reply. See pic below, I still have the tags on parts from putting in the remanufactured engine. Let me know your thoughts guys, I appreciate it as always.
