I am looking into upgrading my lift and am struggling to find the information about the different parts that go into getting a lift around 3-5 inches as well as the parts that will improve articulation. I am trying to figure out what control arms(upper/lower) and cv axles people replace to get this lift, as well as what shocks/springs front and rear. I am also curious what other parts are needed for a lift this size, I've heard that you can geta 4.5 inch lift by replacing the parts, I just can't find any threads that list out the parts.

There is loads of information on here about lift kits, the independent front suspension limits the amount you can easily lift without major engineering work.

I know, I just can't find the threads that point out about the max you can do with aftermarket parts and such, I've heard it's around 4 or 5 but I can't find any concrete information about that

The forum search is not nearly as sharp as going ‘site:jeepkj.com max lift’

Search "frankenlift"
RRO has a 3 inch oift you could combo that with clevis spacers / drop, and stack extra isolators in the back...

But there are probably some control arm issues you will run into....

ok, I've figured out about most parts about what lifts and such, I'm just trying to figure out about what cv axles I need to swap too and what shocks and springs equal what lift, I know I could buy a premade lift kit, but I wan't to see what I can do by buying OME springs and combining with proper shocks to get as close to 4 inch lift as I can get

I've heard about larger/extendable cv axles, I just don't know where I can buy them and it doesn't help that all the lift kit fourms tend to be older so all the links are outdated and alot of the products aren't being made anymore

also I'm trying to figure out if the front and rear springs for the OME lift are the same or if you need 2 different ones for front/rear. also curious about how much lift that will get me
