Ok So I have documented my Power steering issues in another thread. Long story short, my head doesn't have the correct holes tapped into it. That makes the power steering pump impossible to mount without hitting the coolant outlet. I'm wondering if anyone knows the serpentine belt length I would need without it attached to the power steering pump. I need to get it home from my friends so I can start figuring it out. I've tried the 82.5" that is recommend for the A/C delete and it is to long. Does anyone have ANY insight on this.

The sting measurement may be good, but if it is laying flat into groove it may be short and may have to consider tensioner?
Possibly another 2nd belt 1/2 inch longer IDK?
It's custom issues like this that are frustrating, probably best not not to have me over & permanently fix it LOL..

How far do you have to travel with it? Might be easier and safer to just pull it with a tow strap. I've done tow/haul runs like that up to about 60 miles without issue- provided the guy in the vehicle being towed stands on the brakes hard enough when he's supposed to.

Now that I think back to when I changed into a larger steel pulleys on the tensioner, I wish I would have had a cloth measuring tape available.
They are available in different lengths, and width.

There is a bunch on A/C delete but not Power Steering. I found one guy who claimed he used the A/C delete 82.5" to drive his KJ home after the power steering pump seized. But its no dice for me. I'm Looking at 63"I believe and the belt will be here tomorrow

I had an issue just over a year ago, where the pulley came off my power steering pump. I went back and forth to AutoZone (they exchanged them for me without problem) and found the right size to by-pass the pump. Worked fine until I could get a new pump and get it installed.

Hey All. I found a belt that will work to bypass the power steering pulley. I have a 2004 Liberty and an 82" belt worked perfectly. The belt I got was for a 2018 Genesis G8 with a 3.8 Liter motor (6 rib, 82"). I'm going on a long trip with the Liberty and wanted a backup just in case the ps pump goes out. I bought it at advanced auto (Part# 820K6).
