Whats good oil to be putting in the front and rear diffs? can I use the same one that goes in the transfer case? is Draining the front the same as the back?

I use either Royal Purple 75W-140 or Mobil1 75W-140 gear oil,both very good.

You can not use ATF+4 in the diffs.The front diff has a drain plug(8mm allen)and a fill plug,no removal of the diff cover since a diff mount blocks the way.The rear diff you must remove the cover to drain,reseal with RTV and fill using the rubber fill plug on the rear diff cover.

So ATF+4 in the Transfer Case, and 75W-140 in the diffs? just so I have it straight.

I though it called for 75w-90 in the diffs???

75W-140 is for towing and off road use. If you don't ever do either go with 90.

not usually of road, so if I do it I shall go with the 90.
