Gonna be putting on my OME lift with Al's A arms. I've got the "frankenlift" walkthru for the suspension. Any last minute things i should be aware of...or any specs i need to know?

Congrats!

Take things slow, safety first and have fun. Get an alignment right away and don't be afraid to bang on it a bit - the Jeep's made for it!

Pics when you're done too!

The frankenlift how to gets you to use spring compressors for the rear which aren't needed nor is the rear sway bar disconnect.

has lots of good pictures too.

Biggest stumbling blocks i found were reaching the a arm bolts which was solved with lots of extensions from the front of the vehicle.

27 mm socket for castle nut on the ubj on the jba uca.

Also found installing bumpstops were a *****.

I believed the OP when he said the the tie rod ends did not need to be removed ... WRONG. At least with the Frankenlift. I needed every inch of room with the LCA at maximum droop.

Yes you have to remove the tie rod ends or spend more time fighting everything
also brake caliper
UCA nut, remove all of the way then run back on a few turns and then smack it
sway bar links

have rachet straps? May need them to pull the clevis in, one strap on each leg
theres other things but its all very easy

for what it's worth .. I borrowed the front end service kit from my local auto place...it had a tie rod end remover in it. (the "Universal" ones do not fit... not tall enough)... all the soaking and pressing and smacking in the world would not budge the driver's side. 10 seconds with the removal tool and it was free.

Good Luck

Rather do a lift on the ground
much easier to work on,
don't have to keep raising and lowering it to get to bolts

one good smack is all it takes on tie rod ends/ ball joints etc

Why a spring compressor for the rear springs?

Yea you could have removed the bolts from that rear stabilizer and used a jack to lift the one side while you set your spring on the other. Either way it looks good man, do your uca'***** your springs on full droop? The alignment shop i went to insisted i did something wrong, i was about to call marlin and have him school those guys lol
