I looked up injectors in the service manual, volume 2, section 14, pages 82-85.
The tip is the least complex part so a new one might make yours useable again. There are seven holes in it.
The book goes on about a circled number, (1,2,or3), on the injector which indicates the quantity class of the injector. That's hokum as the only circled number in the example, (fig 13), and on my injector, is "60". It goes on about using a computer to identify the injector to the jeep's computer by a six digit alpha-numeric identifier on the injector which must have the quantity info in it. I'm guessing the last number; 1 on the example and my injector. I didn't look at my other three injectors because, I'm lazy. I'll let you know if they're not all #1 someday when I put them in.
Never-seize on the shank of the injector, but not the tip. New bolts are recommended along with the copper seal and o-ring. Torque to 32.4 N.m, or whatever the mysterious foot-pound equivalent might be.
Last line in the section, verbatim, "Inspaect for leaks.".
Hope that helps.
