After much research on this forum I think I'm ready to order some rims and tires for my '06 Renegade

Here's what I've come up with.

Cragar Soft 8's: 16x7" with a 4" backspace and a "0" offset
Bridgestone Dueler AT 695: P235/70R 16
or
Firestone Destination's same size

The only lift I see doing right now will be a 3/8" clevis lifts

I originally wanted a 15" rim but it looks like some hit the caliper and some dont. Since I cant find a wheel shop in my area that sells the Cragar Soft 8, I will have to order them. Better to be safe than sorry.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

sure
here is my .02
keep the $200+ you will end up spending on something you already have and buy something you need
-lift
-locker
-better tires
yeah $200 dont cover any of these but it is still $200 closer
I have 3 sets of rims for my TJ and I only paid for the ones that came on it
how? because people buy new wheels and give away the OE wheels
so I have 5 OE steelies and 10 of the OE wheels from a TJ Sahara pkg
now I can break 5 wheels ,some like to argue that the alum. wheels break and this makes them not good for off roading, and still have a matching set
then I can break 2 more before I am forced back to steel
and I spent my rim money on an ARB locker for the front

I know my Cragar Black D's in 15x7 with 4" BS fit just fine. From what I have gathered, any of the 15" wheels, 7 or 8" wide, will work. You get rubbing on the calipers if you go to an aluminum rim. But the steel wheels should be fine.

I got PRO COMP Black Rock serie same as Cragar but cheaper and it come with the center cap
15 x 8
with 4.75 of BS
and 6 offset
It fits but you just can slide a credit card between the rim and the caliper.
but it fits.

Where did you buy Pro Comps cheaper than soft 8's. I find the 16x7's at 59.95 for soft 8's but 75.99 for the Pro Comps in the same size.

Well, 501
I guest I was wrong in pricing
I always thought that Cragar were expensive, after some research in my bills I found that I paid $79.95 ea.for my Pro Comp
And I have the same gap between caliper and rim as kj924's pictures

No problem NCC, I'm looking at getting me some new rims and was hoping you had a place with better prices then I found.
