Got another Liberty today

Well I decided it was time to retire the ZJ as it was getting on up there in mileage, and came across a good deal on this 2003 Liberty Limited. So I brought it home I guess it would be considered a 'low-equipped' Limited as it has no EVIC or leather seats (as a matter of fact the only thing it has that my 04 Sport doesn't is power drivers seat and ABS) I did have to go to the dealer to get a new key fob as it didn't come with any, but other than that I am very happy with it. So That makes a total of 3 KJs for me 02, 03, 04. Here are a couple of pics of it at work today with the wife's 2004 (I know, I know you guys don't like the bra... But I do so I put it on :icon_twisted: )

Currently my mother is driving the 02 until she gets a new Jeep. Usually it just sits around as a spare vehicle. My son has hinted that he wants it when he gets his license but we still have 4 years until then.

I'd like a CRD with OME/New shocks and real tyres, and some extra lights
up front.
It would be a daily driver... But would get shit kicked from time to time and maintained as well as our '04.

The white one looks good, but I really like the blue one, it's the same color as mine . To my eyes, that "midnight blue" is the best color for the Liberty .

looking at your avatar yours looks like the darker 'patriot blue' where as mine is 'atlantic blue' but thanks for the compliments none the less

Well make that FOUR Libertys for me. I found this 2002 Renegade today and just had to get it. The po blew the motor in 2007 and bought a 3.7l out of a Commander and dropped it in only to realize that the Commander motor wouldn't work in the Liberty so It has been sitting in a storage unit since, he sold the hood and 3 of the fender flares but other than that the truck is complete. Oh and I paid less for the entire truck than I would have just for the lightbar.

I am not 100% sure yet.... I am thinking about taking entire interior and putting it in my 03 Limited (it has the taupe interior and I hate it) as well as the skids/light bar/rack/EVIC and wheels. Then taking the 4 wheel drive components and putting them in my 2002 2wd..... or maybe I will just find a motor, hood and fender flares and fix the rene. I just don't know, I didn't expect it to be in this good of shape

I would fixup the Rene if it was me. But I don't know if one of the engines you DO have would work or not. It has 4x4 already and the awesome all mighty 45.

Indeed sorry about the mixup, I am new to these things and didn't know there were so many different blues. lol As for the build sheets I love the fact that it is so easy to get them from Jeep. (I have the build sheet on all of my Jeeps and just requested the one for the Rene.)

I would Assume the Engine out of my 02 Sport 4x2 would work in the Rene but I would have to do some research. On a side note I talked to a guy today who wants to buy the Commander motor off of me.
