Improved my gas mileage

I understand more air = more power but more power does not mean more fuel economy

Lets say your cruising at 70 then suddenly with some magic you get a CAI then more air and more power so you accelerate but you want to stay at 70 so you release your foot a little and close slightly more the TB to get back to 70 you just moved the flow restriction form the intake to the TB. Where is the fuel economy ?

so by having more air you get more power out ouf the same quantity of fuel :confused:

Sorry for being an *** but i will argue until you convince me your right :D

Lets put it this way. Say your engine needs 2cc's of gasoline and 50 cc's of air for a proper fuel to air mix. When your engine breaths better, there is less effort taken from the firing cylinder to draw in those 50 cc's of air. It's not so much that it's getting more air it's using less effort to get the air it needs. In most instances anything that takes away power also takes away MPG.
