Need to replace my passenger side CV, called Napa and they don't sell the reman ones anymore, just new. Has anyone used the new ones recently? I know they used to be the wrong length or something. I could try another store to get a reman one, but would prefer to use my warranty on the Napa reman I'm replacing.

Well that's craptacular! Is there a measurement that can be taken or that is known to be sure an axle proper length

Interesting, called local one today for a customer and they said they had one if not could get one.
May run in tomorrow and see in person for myself

Not sure on length of new NAPA ones
It was the zone, etc ones that were short

OK just called local NAPA and they acted like I was nuts, ( since I had talked to them already twice today ) said we have a right and left rebuilt plus shows we can still get them from warehouse , so ?????????
Going tomorrow to buy 2 rights and 2 lefts just in case that way will have them
Have to dig out some more trade in's out of the pile LOL

69.49 each with trade in for right side
67.49 for left side

Online it shows they can get them, but when they actually go to order it, it supercedes to the new part. Maybe my Napa is just dumb, they've been known for that. I don't know that another Napa would honor my warranty though. I can get rebuilt ones from O'Reilly's which i'm guessing is the same, all the rebuilt ones are from Cardone. What length should they be?

Should of seen them when I started carrying in 2 old lefts and 2 old rights
Asked if I raided a junk yard, nope, just my storage building ;)

I called another Napa up the river a bit and at first they said they only can get new ones, so I questioned them and then he said he found a remanned one he could order, picking it up Saturday.

Yup, got it today, definitely the reman one, same PN and says REMFG on the axle. Does your store say anything about it being discontinued?

They thought I was crazy for suggesting that they were going to stop selling remans
But also added that stranger things have been deleted from their warehouses
But everything they found out they were not , so ???

Crown Automotive
PartsGeek
CarParts
all have them
average about 77-78 now each

Last time I bought a bunch it was from a company that used to advertise on here, they were going to go up and the guy called me to let me know. So just bought a bunch then, the next week they went over a 100, now at least back down more reasonable again

Have you had any issues with the crown ones? The one I got just simply would never fit, side by side you can tell the difference.
