DAT CJ8

ThunderbirdJunkie would want an '81, because that's the only year the 8 was available with an 8.

Sad things :(

V8S BELONG IN OPEN TOP JEEPS
CHRYSLER, PUT A GOOD V8 IN THE FRIGGIN JK ALREADY.

To be honest, I know nearly nothing about the mechanics of those... instead, I just really dig the CJ Scramblers. :D

Just sold my last two Chero's...sniff sniff

True CJ10's were 4x4 but export only. About all you see here are CJ10A tugs converted into trucks, most often using FSJ components.

My dream jeep is a FC170.

They're ALL cool :D

You should get one Jayme:D

For the right rig at the right price... I'd definitely consider it as a project vehicle. Get some of those damn Astro vans out from around my house.  lol3.gif Even up the numbers a little, you know? :D

When I have more available cash... that's important too. :p I have 3 trips to plan/save for right now - just before the end of this year. It's not happening in the NEAR future, unfortunately.

But I'd eventually like to have something like a CJ Scrambler to project on.

That one down by you probably doesn't have the salt belt rust either...

It never happened. I would have bought one of these at almost any price:

Now that's dripping with cool, and I'd definitely have to get one if they ever put it on the market......(woot)

Years ago I drove the city bug sprayer, it was mounted on a 1964 Jeep pickup, 4 speed manual, two lever transfer case, flat head inline 6, and manual locking front hubs. This was in '77 or '78, and that truck was a beast, you couldn't hurt it if you tried real hard. A lift kit and better wheels and tires, and that thing would crawl over anything else on the highway....or trail.....

I wanted to buy it several years later when they auctioned it off, but they let it sit in a back lot for years neglected, and it got salt water half way up the doors during a couple Nor'easter storms, so I walked away....shameful waste of a classic Jeep......:(

Dude!!!!!!!

I'd trade in the KJ and go into major debt for a JK Truck (Gladiator concept).

Well maybe not too much debt.

Are you kidding me....I'd sell off my two kids for scientific experimentation to get my mitts on a Gladiator......nana.gif

Hell...I just blew that picture up and made it my desktop photo....friggin Chrysler is nutz not to put that thing out....(except that it would probably put a serious dent in Ram truck sales)....

Scrambler.....thats what its called.

It's a CJ-8. Scrambler was a trim package, just like Renegade or Golden Eagle.
Not all CJ-8s are Scramblers.

Give ya $2500 each.

That should give you a nice, tidy down payment.
