so I just had the idea to turn my blown up jeep liberty into a trailer lol, I have no idea if i'm going to do it, my main concern is weight, so would anyone have any idea about how much the engine, trans, gas tank, front suspension, etc would weigh? pictured below is kinda whats going through my head, ppl do this type of conversion with xjs and i've seen one of a suburban and a tj, just curious how much weight I'd be dropping removing stuff

I've seen it done with cars and pickups, once you chop half the body off and remove the driveline you only have an axle and a bit of bodywork so I can't imagine it's that heavy. You could even buy a hydraulic hitch and keep the trailer brakes.
Your lucky.... all that sort of thing is banned here now, everything has to be type approved for use. Fun is fast becoming illegal.
