I have a 2007 (95,000 km) Liberty Rocky Mountain with 17 inch chrome clad rims. I've noticed that the chrome is flaking off the corners of the rims. Pretty large flakes at that. All five rims have this problem. My question is - 1. Does anyone else have this problem? , and 2. Will the warranty cover this? It seems to be more than just wear and tear but rather a defect in the way chrome has adhered to the rim. Much like if the paint were to start flaking off the truck. Any input would be great. I plan to call Chrysler on Tuesday.

Yea, go to the dealer and let them know your issue. I think it should be under your warranty.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Wheels are not covered under any warranty besides the 3/36.They are not covered under the corrosion warranty, that only includes exterior body panels and alot voids that warranty like salt.
