Check rockerbox gaskets at the top of the engine, they may be leaking and the oil running down the back of the engine, easy job to replace the gaskets.
The other thing that often leaks is the rear main oil seal on the crank, big job to change as you have to take the engine or gearbox out to access it.

Check the front main seal, it is common for it to leak and for the oil to run along the top of the oil pan while driving and gather where you see it. The front seal does not sound as hard to replace and I bought one, but I also added some STP high mileage oil treatment at my last oil change (which has some stop leak in it). It has stopped my leak during the hot months. We will see what it does over the winter. Mine has just shy of 200,000 miles -- so it definitely qualifies for some high mileage love.

Let me jump in with -

Depending on the color of the fluid you are seeing - if it is red/pink - it is likely the cooler lines with a little pin hole.

Dont leave us hanging on the edges of our seats David, run a paper towel along other top edges of the oil pan front to back so I can have my bragging rights :)
