It may seem silly but my rusted spare was an eye sore lol. Bit the bullet on fhe $65 Mopar spare tire cover last week. Fits well, seems high quality, and cleans up the back immensely. Part # 82207586AC. My spare is a 235/70R-16. Never got around to sandblasting and painting it like the other 6 steel wheels I did a few years back.

I finally got the lift kit installed on the Jeep this month. I didn’t realize how bad the saggy suspension looked until I got the new suspension installed. Here’s the before and after

Bert got another badge of honor today. Finally going to have the time and weather to do the third window doors on Friday. Can you find it?

Got to " drag race " a old hooptie XJ today
Guy thought he had a real race jeep
3 different style of wheels on it , bald tires, no muffler , rattle can paint job
every light ( about 15-16 through this town we were in ) he would sit there racing his motor , laughing and pointing shouting come on I'll take ya, I'll take ya , come on LOL
2nd to last light through this town , he does it again
and then light turns green, he punches his, then I let the 03 growl a little, I was sitting at the next light before he rolled out a vehicles length almost
He pulled up to next light, girlfriend rolled up the passenger window ( he was in left lane ) sat there very quietly and when the light turned he slowly took off :p:D:eek:;)
Most fun I had all day almost LOL
it reminds me of the Movie with Ron Howard and Harrison Ford American Griffitt @

Put a new radiator in, why in the world is the thermostat on the lower hose? Every other rear wheel drive I have ever owned had the thermostat on top

Short trips over this Thanksgiving week, only put about 1300 -1400 miles on the 03 so far
but was all worth it
even shopped on BLACK FRIDAY, something I had always avoided in the past
Gas prices from 2.98 to 3.43 , that is what I observed
Bought at cheapest places 2.98-3.04

Be **** the guy who came to get a lift and new tires installed at my place
He was sitting almost 2 inches lower than stock ( at 78,000 miles )
We installed the regular OME lift and sit it up at 3 inches , and 245-75-16 tires installed
When done he came back to get it, we went for a little ride and got back to my place , he went to get out and fell to the ground LOL
With tires, suspension etc we raised him 6.5 inches and he wasn't used to stepping out and down that much ****
