Joined one of the Jeep Clubs for a meet and greet ( was actually invited because of Bert’s cred from Tuttle Creek) weather was garbage so low turnout, but then this showed up…yeas, theres a Cummins Turbo Diesel crammed in that wrangler. The rocket pods are subwoofers. Radiator is roof mounted in the cargo area…

Picked up oil and filter for my next oil change. I will be at 193,000 at that point, with 107,000 on the “new” engine. I decided I would try Mobile 1 this time, which is full synthetic. I got a deal on it at the auto parts store. It says 10,000 miles before the next oil change on the bottle… crazy! I’ve always done mine every 3,000 miles with conventional oil. Who here runs extended oil changes like that?

I run Mobil 1 full syn but still change every 3500-4000 miles
04s been running that for over 230,000 miles
03 the last 177,000 miles
the 05 last 55,000
My last XJ ran same oil, same oil change intervals for over 340,000 miles before I sold it

I gave the KJ a lil evening 'detail'. Pics taken in the garage at night so excuse the slight low-light...

How did you get your seats so clean? Mine have so many water stains on them, and I haven't been able to get them out!

Full synthetic, every 6,000 miles or one year, whichever is first. Every couple of oil changes I send a sample off the Blackstone labs to have it analyzed. As long as it continues to come back with them saying I can go even longer than 6,000 based on the condition of the oil, I'm going to leave it at that. However, I have been known to change it early if I've been doing a lot of towing or put a lot of abuse on the vehicle on a short period of time.
