What’s your trick? I tried just removing the front cam bolt from each lca and pry the lca down to get that front diff bolt out but couldn’t get the clearance. Hopefully there isn’t a next time but, just in case…
Undo nuts, push bolt thru' to give best access to head, cut it off, knock out bolt. When the time comes, replace new bolts the other way round.
That's how Uncle Tom told me to do it - &, yes, it really is that easy!

This didn't work for me when I had mine apart because the bolts hit the rack bolts when trying to go in the other way. So either way I was gonna have to deal with additional hardware one way or the other. It was close though, probably could force them past the rack bolts with hammering.

Last time I even started mine, was to move it out of the garage and under a car cover, so I can use the bay for the kid's car repairs.
that was like 3 weeks ago.

MOABs and phone dials are in my opinion the perfect tasteful wheel upgrade for KJs.
I'm debating if I want another set of MOABs or do I want to get a set of phone dials for the next tire purchase.

that's the only thing I've found on tire rack, listed for the KJ, that I remotely find intriguing.

Hieroglyphic mountain loop trail prob the best trail I've done in Az rated as difficult basically not for a kj...but again I dont subscribe to normal kj mentality

I've had it for almost 3 weeks, been dealing with an oil pressure issue on my Yukon.

unfortunately didn’t come out as good as I hoped, but improved. I believe I'm having cam bearing issues, but at well over 200k miles on a retired Idaho fish and game vehicle that's not too surprising. I'll be running it until it dies which hopefully won't be too soon.

Don’t feel bad about the Three weeks. I had a valve cover gasket for over a year once for my old Cherokee :D

I replaced rear pads and handbrake shoes. I assume the rear caliper was designed by committee. What a pain in the backside! Done now though. Next job is to get the running temperature up to spec. Not long after I bought the jeep the transmission oil cooler went south. (2.8 CRD auto) so I threw on an old school British Leyland/MGB pattern external gearbox oil cooler, but ever since the engine has struggled to reach proper working temperature. First guess is the thermostat but I suspect the radiator need the extra heat from the integral oil cooler??? All comments/suggestions welcome!

Maybe over cooling the oil if the heat exchanger is higher rated than the original. The other favourite is the thermostat but it's a coincidence that it happened when you fitted the new oil cooler.
Autodoc list a pattern one, I've just received my first order for them, delivery is very slow but the price is attractive on some items and they list a good range of parts.

I'd not expect an over efficient trans. cooler to seriously affect engine reaching normal working temp. but the coincidence of the 'stat failing at the self same time would be remarkable. Can you clamp the hoses to the cooler & see if removing it from the equation makes any difference?
