Took it to the dealer to get a TPMS installed...$138. Not too bad, the light is finally off again!!! Tomorrow AM it's going in for the recall.

I put in new valve cover gaskets (the passenger side was an absolute PITA!), new rotors and ceramic pads, and an oil change.

Washed the deer carnage off the undercarriage. It smells like a good old fashioned BBQ everytime the exhaust heats up!

Pics PLEASE!! Let me know what you did with the heat gun. Sounds like you're in the same predicament as me. No that bad of a rub, but enough to maybe do something about it?

First "real service" since I got the car two weeks ago, not the "freebie-and-i-wonder-how-many-corners-he-cut" service from the place I bought it.
Changed transmission fluid to ATF+4, differential oils seemed ok.
Replaced crappy chinese aftermarket park distance control unit (see above comment on freebies) with a proper one (wifey needs that with the spare hanging out the back!)
Replaced lower fogs with whiter color lamps to match the xenons the seller had installed.

Final touchup on the interior tomorrow fluffing up the seat cushion, and pics over the weekend...

Jen's been out West since the age of Three.
We now live just outside of Hongcouver in Lichmond.
The largest Chinatown in North America!
79% Asian population. Best drivers in the World too!:D

Hence the lift and big tires, to drive over em?!

I moved to Brampton from Wales when I was 3 - guess my parents had it backwards...haha. Where in Brampton was she from? I grew up at Bramalea Rd & Central Park Dr. - right across from our "Mount. Chinguacousy" ski hill (aka old garbage dump )

AND....I installed a new sticker today....CHECK IT....

Jen doesn't remember.
She was too young.
Her and her family took the train out west when she was three years old.

Well good for her!! (and you!!!)
Brampton was a sticks town when my parents moved here, but sadly, it has become HUGE and of course the roads havent grown much to compensate.
Ah well....perhaps one day my wife will stick us on a train outta here too :p

Rotated tires

First rotation at 5K miles of the Kumho KL61's using floor jack and four jackstands. I am very satisfied so far with ride, low noise and wet weather grip.

Also checked all fluids under the hood.

Changed the lift heights on all four corners (dropped it by about 1/2" as my CV's have sarted to complain.). I was at 23" all around except for front left - that side was about 1/2" low. I kept a conduit nut on that side to make things nice & level. Now 22 1/2" in front, 22" in the rear from center of the hub to the fender flare. Now my Rennie sits perfect!

I'm pretty particular when it comes to that kind of stuff! :Big Laugh:

New solid lug nuts for the wheels. The caps started falling off the crappy stock ones.
