Got it all in my build thread. But it's an ome lift, extra upper rear isolator, front strut plate, 245 75 16 cooper discoverer atps and tj Moab rims.

That's my neighbors little project fiat. He drives it in the summer but he's slowly fixing it.

Well, after a final POP on Saturday from my front driveline and the beginning of a nice wobble, along with loss of drive to the front wheels,
I decided I had better get under there and take care of it. Yeah, the CV joint is toast. The pop I heard was probably the final ball shooting out
the front of the joint, as the shaft was just spinning freely inside the housing.

I didn't even have to pull the housing apart to get it off! Doh!

All better now! Nice to have my 4WD back !!

WOW that had to be making noise for some time now
Surprisingly, no. It was silent until Saturday! It's been running dry for a long time though! I consider myself pretty lucky it didn't come apart before now! I haven't used the 4WD for awhile though, so no stress on the joint...but still...

Holy crap! :icon_eek:

Mine (I think) is making some noise and needs to be replaced on the next nice day. Fortunately, I have the new joint here already.

I cleaned off 3" of slush this evening, then inflated all the tires from 29 psi to 35 psi. Nope, haven't checked it in the last 2 months (oops).

Last Sunday Wildman brought his XJ over to mount a winch, wire up some LED back up lights and install new transfer case linkage
Heres his new 12,000 lb winch on the XJ with 4 inches of lift and 33s

Flushed and refilled the cooling system, got all the gunk out... and while at it, replaced the cracked radiator, upper and lower hoses and the thermostat

left him at the garage, I already miss my KJ but can't wait to get the new liftkit installed and finally drive a decent suspension :D At least, more decent than a end of life OEM.

TwoBobs Black KJ was here couple of weeks ago
Now another Black KJ is coming tomorrow for JBA UCAs, LBJs, rear tri link, diff fluid swap, and not sure what else he has on the list by now
Then Merry Christmas for mine, Saturday 4 parts should be here for her
Also before a Christmas trip I still need to replace a right side CV as well, Had one in there that Al ( original owner of jeepinbyal ) had rebuilt about eight years ago, the boot let go. :icon_sad:

Shocked a few coworkers on the way to a group outing. Then I located a new tailgate! Will need to be painted though.
