The one I ordered has 3 pieces, one of which fits. Kind of wasteful, but it's the only bushing by that I've been able to find without buying the entire control cable assembly at Moparidiculous prices.

Yeah, factory is NGK copper cores that should only last 25-35K at the most. I'm surprised you could even start the Jeep at 108K!

Finally changed out the leak detection pump. Maybe my MIL will finally cut off. While I was at it, I put on a gas tank skid and reinstalled my reese hitch.

How hard was it to change the Leak Detection Pump? I have thought about changing mine to diagnose and possibly repair a weird squeak (posted in another thread on here), but there is nothing in the Haynes manual about it.

I dropped the front of the tank onto jackstands (2 bolts) then pressed a clip to take it off the front of the tank. Disconnected 2 hoses and electrical connector and installed everything in reverse.

If you don't want to go through the trouble, disconnect the electrical connection and see if it still squeaks. (It will throw a code though)

Rear Shoes

I continued the slow rebuild of my "new to me" 2002. This weeks project was rear shoes and drums. It's been about 20 years since I've changed shoes on a vehicle, but this went the same as I remember it then....2 hours on the first side, 30 minutes on the second side.

Changed belt tensioner to find out something is wrong with my A/C clutch or condenser.

Found another liberty to park beside at my daughter's preschool.

Changed out the boot on my slipyoke. It seemed like just a little scratch a few weeks ago.

Just returned from dropping my Jeep off with Jeff at Adrenaline Offroad in Laurel, MD. Next time I post here, I will be riding on 245/75r16 Treadwright Goodyear MTR/Ks with OME springs/shocks all around.

As soon as the key is back in my hand, you can bet I'll be posting a ton of pictures for ya'll.

Washed and waxed the Jeep today. In about 6 weeks or so may have to do this in the heated garage :disgust:

got it up on a lift and tried to figure out why my t-case is violently shaking while turning in 4wd...looks like the front driveshaft rear boot is torn, so re-building the front driveshaft head will be this weekends project.

My wish list is getting smaller and my dream pile is getting bigger :)
OME springs and shocks(ordered) and hockey pucks left to go.

Are those General AT2's? I'm very happy with mine.
