Look so much better debadged I think.
Oh, absolutely. And it's so easy to do. Only took me 1½ tanks of o2 - YMMV - and it will make it much easier to wash & wax. 'Course, if Chrysler wants to send me a check every month for advertising, I'd be happy to glue them suckers back on.

Not long ago I had it off road, and experienced a "little" mud.
I power washed the heck under the jeep after the trip.

I used an ISIMPLE interface kit. Very simple to install & use. Pull the radio out plug in the adapter , plug in the interface , and then run the cable to wherever you want your ipod to live. It plugs into the port in the back of the factory radio for the factory cd changer. I dont have a factory cd changer so that port was unused. Now the cd controls on the face of the radio control the ipod. It turns on & off automatically with the ignition. No need to hit the pod to turn it off like the interface I had in my Silverado.
I bought it from AudioPartsOnline, through EBAY for $80.00

FORDed my new 2005 CRD home from a mile away. All it needs are tires, title, keys, and engine. Maybe a turbo and head. Probably some rocker arms and a water pump. Definately a timing belt and the things that hold the hood up.

Only problem is... it's BLUE!

Took a drive around town after fueling up. Parking brake cable is flapping (That is probably one of the most annoying sounds I have ever heard made on a vehicle.), situation with it is getting worse, time for new rear brakes anyways since the last person that owned it pad slapped both front and rear so the rear rotors are getting chewed up with all the city driving I do. Once again the lights I hate the most came on, I checked out under the rear for the brake cables and the ABS sensors. Checked both front and rear, light went off after I did some prodding around and pushed in on the sensor connection for the right rear. Now comes the fun part of going to shop getting the job done without the new ''snitch'' working since I have things done ''my way'' when I'm there.

Drove 19 hours from just north of Flint Michigan to Daytona Beach, FL, straight through.

According to the EVIC, I averaged 20.0 mpg for the trip (up there, from Flint to the UP, backwoods UP, back down to Flint, then Florida). I don't think that's half bad.

The dog enjoyed the extra room, compared to the old Colorado.

Overall, much success! Put about 3600 miles on it over the week, on top of the ~2500 I'd put on since I did the last oil change. So that's about 6000 miles on the oil, which now looks like it's time to change, and is half a quart down. I can live with that, my Colorado would be half a quart down at 3500 miles and GM considered that to be 'normal'. Off to the store for some more Mobil 1! I figure I'll run 4500 mile intervals on it, as it still looked honey-colored around that point.

I must say, this is a much better highway cruiser than the old pickup was. Other than being stiff, I didn't really hurt anywhere and wasn't super tired other than my eyes. The old pickup usually resulted in a sore back and me being utterly exhausted if I tried a straight-through run. It's also better off-road, at least maneuverability wise. We put it in places I'd have never gotten the pickup. Although I do miss the G80 locker the pickup had, I wouldn't have required a tow up that sand hill if I'd had it. The Jeep tends to stop when a front and rear tire aren't really touching the ground (man that's an interesting sensation to have in a vehicle).

Well you beat me by five hours, Atlanta GA to New Sharon Iowa in 14 hrs straight driving. Swore never to do such a stunt like that again either.

Well today, driving to work I get about two miles up the road and when breaking hear a very low growl and almost like a snap kind of. ABS lights lit up again and won't go off. The parking brake which had been working actually the last two weeks is loose and free at the handle. So I'm thinking the parking brake has gone bye bye for good and took the sensor with it to the tropics.
