Had to replace the radiator in my wifes 02 Liberty today. This was the second time, first one was in march of 2012. 3 1/2 years on a napa radiator, at least it had a lifetime warranty.

link to those GPS tracker things you used?
I'll go through my eBay history and post the link in a little while. I'm glad to have them back, lmao they're louder than the SoundQubed 12 I was running.

Started going through the rig this morning doing a bunch of stuff I've been wanting to get around to. Wired up the floorboard led lights and front courtesy led's. Swapped the Incriminator comp set tweeters out for the Pioneer's, pulled down the headliner and added more deadener to the roof, going from 50% to 85% coverage, and no more roof rattles. Did new NGK plugs, fuel filter, flushed ps fluid and added a cheap filter.

Been working on a port that I was going to use for the 12", cut it to the correct length to use on the new box for the 8's. Still have to shape it a little more and smooth it out. Ordered a 3rd one today...and the box is still going to be a lot smaller than the 12" hds2

Drove it to work and home. Rolled over 172k and no brake noise. Still need to replace the pads and rotors but the clattering is gone.

Seeing all the Renegade parts reminded me that I saw a real nice looking Renegade for sale at a gas station in Lutherville MD. Wish I had time to stop. No price listed on it that I could see.

Almost got killed by an absolute ******* in a black SUV with Illinois plates.

He's in the right lane, I'm in the left about to pass him. No one in front of him, but he decides he needs to be in the left lane. Almost hits me, so I hit the horn and brakes. When he swerves back into his lane, I pass him.

Then he punches it, gets in front of me, stomps on the brakes and almost makes me rear-end him. Then, when I again pass him, he gets behind me, then over into the exit lane, then almost sideswipes me giving me the finger, then down the exit ramp.

That dude is going to kill someone.

He probably had a city sticker too. Thats standard procedure in Chicago. Just shy of a drive by. :happy175:

That's just typical of about 99% of all drivers from Illinois, when they're out of state. Them and Nebraskans do not share the road very well.

Leeann, that's why I drive my SS Silverado a lot more than I do my Liberty. SOB's that will run fast enough to keep up with me are way too busy to fly any bird.:driver:

Did walk all over some poor sod's "new car pride" this evening though. As I passed a Ford dealership, brand new black Mustang GT, dual exhaust, this couple, guy driving, come out into the left lane, I'm in right. Noticed a paper drive permit on back till real license is bought. I tend to drive fast, this guy pretty well stayed in left lane inching up on me @ 65. 55mph divided state highway, crept up to 70, he kept inching up, 75, inching up. We came up on another car in left lane, Mustanger increased, planning to box me behind it. I could tell he was pretty deep into it and gaining, but he'd started too soon. The 240,000mi 6.0 easily pulled far enough ahead I could get in left, pass car, and the Pony could only, barely, keep up. Took left lane again, kicked er up to approx 95. When I decided to back off I intentionally rode the brake so he'd know I was allowing him to pass. My destination was just about another mile up the road.

Could he have made a better effort had he not been concerned about the fresh non-broken-in drivetrain (or the lil woman in there eating on his ass)? Don't know. But had it been me in the Mustang, an older, dirty, dinged up Chev PU would have been hard to take an ass whipping from.

So I bought my KJ from a used car dealership a few weeks ago. I ordered a new PCV Valve, got a new serpentine belt coming in the mail along with new platinum spark plugs.

Thinking of getting new engine coils, replacing the front and rear brakes with drilled and slotted performance brakes, replacing the air intake with a K&N one, new headlights and fog lights eventually, have to program a new transmitter for the key fob. That reminds me, I need new windshield wipers too. Oh, and I want to replace the IAC valve and clean out the throttle body.

Cancel the platinum plugs and get plain old copper.

^^^^^This^^^^**

And do your wallet and your Jeep a favor and take the time to read about anything you might want to do to your Jeep. Not everything that is a typical upgrade on other vehicles will benefit your Jeep, and you may find other alternatives.

Welcome to the forum ! Have fun and carry on!

Reminds me of when I put the ****** in his place who had a 370Z with my Pontiac G8. Came up to the intersection to make the turn, saw the guy was ''showing off'' his cars power against everybody like it was special. Speeding, weaving through the lanes cutting people off. Needless to say, he learned the lesson that I follow very strictly. You may be fast, but remember there is always somebody faster than you.

The proper copper core plugs are best as mentioned. Check your emissions sticker and get the proper ones. You don't need new coil paks if the old ones are working fine and not throwing codes. If you do have to replace one, use OEM only. A K&N is a waste of money for the KJ. The OEM intake is CAI.

Hey now, that's not true. The 99% only pertains to those who drive a Mercedes.
