soooo the R06 restraint module connector can't lock with the main wiring harness.
I bet someone messed up that locking tab. Especially with all those airbag recalls. The whole connector needs to be replaced.

So Pepper will have a sleepover with other jeeps at the stealership until the connector arrives tomorrow from LA.

Chrysler is covering the tab for a rental car since Pepper is my only ride.

sigh......

I tuned my CB today. It is getting a much better signal. Now it is ready to use tomorrow when I go check on some 4 wheel drive trails in the mountains with a friend. I also got my light bar mounts painted and the new switch installed. Lastly I got rid of some rust on the bottom corners of the front drivers and passengers door and then put some undercoating down to help protect in the future.

Tim, sorry i forgot to mention that they will not release the jeep for safety reasons as the connector cannot lock. replacement connector is being shipped from LA.

Hence, Chrysler is covering the tab for a rental car since Pepper is my only ride.

How do you like the 45RFE in it compared to the 42RLE? (It has the 45 right?)

Thanks, everyone! :favorites13:

Congrats! So cool that the KJ got to be part of it!
I didn't plan it that way, and I didn't even think about it at the time. It was only when I was writing it up that it occurred to me that the Liberty was right in the middle of the whole deal all the way through. :D

Lifted!!

I installed my lift kit last night. OME 927/948 Combo with a 1/4" plate spacer and extra Iso. Heading to get an alignment pretty soon. As she sits right now I got a hair over 3" total. I'm amped.:biggun:

Alignment will bring it down some but should stay at 3 inches

BEFORE AND AFTER
FUNNY how just a little lift makes it look a little better
now to save up for tires or sell something else to get them sooner !

Took my jeep to the northeast motorcycle expo looking for a helmet. Ended up putting a hold on triumph.

Swapped intake tube from filter box to throttle body. The 04-06 is a perfect fit. Tired of the cramped look with that big resonator.

Before, the resonator actually contacted the alternator post. Couldn't get the cap on:
