Getting it storage ready this week. I'll be deploying for the navy soon and I want her to be clean. Plan on jacking it up removing all wheels and cleaning the fender liners, deep clean the wheels, paint the undercarriage with Bedliner , gut the interior and clean everything. She's pretty clean now but I'm OCD. Also got new tail lights but I don't have a picture yet. Also plan to degrease the engine bay.
Picture below is for someone who's been messaging me, to show how well the seats are holding up. Still look the same after 3 months using griots

I asked once before but are those stock seat skins?

They are seat covers, if you want to know where to get them send me a PM and I'll let you know the part # when I had back to autozone

Notice how the fenders and bumpers are gray now as opposed to black. Like this

Took me three days to strip off all of the paint and Bedliner I put on to protect them. linex wanted 90 in labor to do it and 100 for each bumper. So 60$ and 6 cans of aircraft stripper for flexible plastic later I got it all off

Oh ok, now that I look at it closely I see that.

After I get my bumpers and fenders sorted out with linex I'll be taking it to an upholstery shop to re do them in black leather

I was looking for anyone that had added on an air compressor to the KJ, but never found anyone that had.

I like it clean and I like it muddy too…Muddy to have fun and clean just to look good and nice about your rig.

Doing that job your self is great. Most important you save a lot of money.

Cheers!

How is it shifting? Seems like now we're at the same point. No mechanical symptoms but the P0740.

sometimes it shifts really smooth and sometimes i can feel every gear change with intermittent shudders. p0740 came up as pending(no CEL) after i noticed a shudder. p1776 came later on with CEL after hard shift. went to autozone to return failed alternator and wanted them to check battery. open the hood and the ground is really loose on the battery. that cleared the codes but i watched it on the way home. p0740 came up again as pending along with p0732 but no CEL. the solenoid is new, valvebody is new and even reinspected before reassembled the transmission so i wait to see what trans guy says on thursday. yay warranties... been researching p1776 and p0740 goes is too many directions.
