Brought my 2002 Liberty to the dealer this morning to preform the air bag control module and side impact sensors recall. After waiting around for almost 5 hours they finally gave up and rented me a Dodge Quad Cab next door at Enterprise. Air bags are no longer being recognized. Guessing a static, a bent pin or a broken wire while they were working on it. I'm not a happy camper.

Oil change on the Jeep, headlight housing swap on the tC. Starting to really dig into the tC and start making it my own.

Soon I'll be in over my head with two vehicles...

cmclau5324, I don't know what you were thinkin', using an email address for a user name (for that matter, I don't know what the admin was thinking even allowing it), but you should contact the Administrator and ask to have your user name changed. Unless you like getting spammed. :emotions34:

I tried a whole bunch of user names and finally tried an email address and it was the only one that worked. Several forums I've been on required an email address to register and then you picked a different user name. I thought maybe that was the case here as well. I appreciate you mentioning it though.

It took them 2 weeks at the dealer for the ORC recall on our 2002 Liberty. This is a new dealer in town and it turns out they didn't have the right diagnostic tool to program the replacement which is why the airbag light came on with the replacement. Jeep has discontinued the diagnostic tool so they had to buy one off of eBay!

They finally fixed it and admitted it was an issue with their diagnostic tool.

Heading to the local bone yard in a bit to pull a steering column with all the cruise and rear audio controls along with the cruise actuator and throttle cable.

Really like to get cruise and the rear audio controls up and running on my 02 Sport.
