Front and rear suspension in the last couple weeks. Finally done with that, but as always more to do.

Front : upper control arms, coil spring and shock assemblys, sway bar links and lower ball joints.

Rear: upper control arm, lower control arms, springs and shocks.

Cooler this AM to do more Jeep work. All hinges cleaned up and lubed, needed it.
Sprayed silicone on rubber door moldings seals.
Mudflaps had turned slime moss green, looks good again.
Some under hood stuff like checking spark plugs and cleaning the coolant reservoir tank.
Another Okanogan (interior of BC Pic)...

Nowz a good time to go badgeless! I tried taking those off on mine, but the the difference in the paint made it too obvious so I just l left them on. Fortunately that wasn't the case with the dealer decal.

I flew over that area a few years ago on a hockey tour to Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. Scenery was amazing.

Received my JBA upper control arms today. Theyre yellow in colour, not red which i thought was weird. Oh well. I aim to swap them out this weekend. Hopefully it all goes to plan.

That is strange - red is JBA's signature color

just drove it to kid's taekwondo classes. thinking as I go "passenger front window is going really slow lately. wonder if I should order a replacement regulator now."

... and it just broke with a loud bang. 66k miles on the clock on an 07. that's not covered under the extended warranty, is it?

so what's the preferred source of regulators these days? wonder if I should just order all 4 now and have spares here.

the motor still seems to work, just lots of crunchy noises as it goes. is it worth it doing the repair kit, or just replacing the whole assembly?

it's most likely just the plastic OEM regulator that holds the glass is broken off from the threaded semi-flexible rod that the motor moves to raise or lower the glass.

The crunching noise is most likely that rod jamming/moving around in your door panel.

In the end it's your money.

guess I need to pull the door panel off and see which window type I have. never know if it's already been changed once.

have the new style.
found that vendor on ebay. their own site has all 4 repair kits for $71.26, and free shipping.
think I'll go that route, so I have the others on hand.

Bumper trim fins

Finished shaping one of my custom bumper trim fins out of diamond plate. It's gonna be a nice addition to my "Oscar Mike" concept. :). Photos on my project thread.
