Took one of the keys I bought on ebay to the hardware store to have cut. A couple of the guys started talking about liability concerns as the keys were expensive, they cut it after I told them it wasn't even $9 from ebay. After programming it as a sentry key I was able to program the remote part of it

Rode in it home from the hospital.

Tripped and fell down my concrete back steps onto a concrete pad.

Broke my humurus all the way across and cracked it from my elbow to the break.

I should be grateful it's not worse since that's what I landed on. All I could think was please don't hit your head...

I have to see a surgeon next week. In the meantime, it's only splinted and moves when I do, so I'm not moving.

Now lots of projects on the Jeep are delayed :(

Sooooo working on my Jeep tonight. Changing out my muffler to a Magnaflow, and it was going GREAT! Pretty well done enough that I could use it. And then the infamous " I'll just hit the clamp one more time with the Impact" then SNAP!-----------PLUCK (replace PL with an F) Looked in my stash but did not find a replacement bolt, so off to the hardware store tomorrow.

Bummer, bummer, BUMMER! So sorry to hear about that. I hope your bones heal fast and that you find satisfying ways to while away the time during that process. Maybe you have friends who can take you and your KJ out wheelin' on soft, non-jarring terrain once in a while.

ohh Ouch Leeann, VERY sorry to hear of your fall....Take it real easy there ok..
That is going to take a while to repair....poor Leeann.
I broke my elbow once when I was a kid. I still remember the pain swelling and recovery.
I hope you can get surgery ASAP & let the healing begin.

It hurts a crap ton. And I've broken a lot of bones, sprained a lot of things, dislocated my shoulder and had surgery on an ankle and a knee.

This is the worst by far.

I'm not riding inanything except to the doc for a while; that really makes the bone pieces rub.

I took the old man steps off! Amazing how much taller it looks just from that quick mod!
