Hate to be the one to say it but going the wrong way on some things, need to rethink what you are replacing and do it right
When I bought my 04 it had the platinum plugs in not knowing otherwise when I replaced them I used platinum. After reading that you should only use copper I switched over huge difference runs alot smoother on copper

That really interesting to hear actually. Any background as to why the OE NGKs are such a preference?
I believe the platinum have a different resistance level

I bought a big 4 drawer sears metal toolbox, upgrade from the plastic 3 drawer. Once you have a portable toolbox with drawers you never go back to the traditional style.

going to get an alignment this week, mount the new wheels and tires, replace the front passenger side wheel well liner, clean/fluid film the underside, and install the new deck/backup camera.

It's going on! Rear already done. Combining the 2.5 kit with new upper and lower control arms with new MOOT LBAs sure makes following "instructions" interesting. Nearly need a navigator for this trek! Sheesh...

I take back (nearly) every cuss I expressed over the past weekend. Suspension totally upgraded JAB Silver 2.5" kit - upgraded to adjustable rears, JBA UCAs (with replaceable UBJs installed), new LCAs, new MOOG K3199 LBJs pressed in, alignment done, 100 mile break in complete. From 18" near all the way around to 22.0" front and 21.5" rear (allowing for settle and Backbone to arrive shortly). WOW!!! Driving like she never did. Now time for an Italian tuneup.

If you are looking for a lift (that might be drivable), then play Google and Amazon piece together game. If you want an upgraded experience in drivability and comfort, (with maybe a little height increase too) the go JAB - all the way. Loving life!

Oil Leak

Replaced oil pressure sending unit (sensor?) on our 2002 KJ.

It was a bit of a pain in the **** due to limited accessibility (working blind).

Hopefully fixes that nagging oil leak that started right after we bought the vehicle from friends.

I swear to the gods I want to punch in the teeth the a$$hole who spec'ed the pressure sender for 99.999% of chrysler's vehicles. EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM LEAKS AT SOME POINT!
Wife's Stratus has an oil leak I finally found; it's the sending unit!
Pretty sure mom's PT is leaking from the same place. I'll find out in a couple days. At least on the PT i'm pretty sure I don't have to disassemble half the damn car to get to the sender. The Stratus is going to be a ***** of a job that will have to wait for the next trans flush/fill/filter, since I have to pull at least the passenger axle completely out to make room.

righopper, completely changes the KJ doesn't it ?
As far as ride and handling
Yes Sir!

I have a bit of delayed rebound to work out, but difference in handling and ride is indescribable. This is not the same vehicle. The fun is back!

Me too! They couldn't believe how clean it was underneath for the mileage and age
Knock on wood they don't set off the airbag light. Mine has been on since I left and I had to reinstall my center console as they didn't set it correctly

YoU can run your vinnyouself or just call any jeep dealership and provide them with it. They should be able to tell what was done and what wasn't. Mine was the restraint module free hitch and transfer case switch
