ive had a remand rack sitting around for a year....ill get to it eventually hah

I know the feeling. I've had good intentions and parts sitting in the garage for multiple vehicles for a long time, just no time to deal with them.

I just need to do the research before diving in. I don't want to be caught unawares.

Yeah. Great guy. Stepdaughter's Girl Scout leader's husband and assoc. leader.

He was like a golden retriever puppy: he never met a stranger and he was never anything but animated and happy.

What he did for my stepdaughter (on the autism spectrum) was nothing short of miraculous.

Does the Napa Platinum filter have louvers down the center tube? Napa Gold is a great filter, the Platinum is great IF the louvers are fully opened, which sometimes they aren't. I just use ones with regular holes down the tube. Easier than checking louvers.

So sorry to hear of your loss. People like that are in short supply.

Gold is the best really, unless you plan on doing a 8000 mile OCI. Anything under that and the Gold is great.

Always got great prices at NAPA,
plus with the business license get same pricing as any shop gets
Plus I get to chat with the guys and girls
Not a big online shopper for automotive parts, have compared and not worth it to me

I just buy them as I need them. I don't hoard oil like some on the oil forum, so for a change I'll always need oil anyway.

managed to safely pop the mirror glass off the motor (twice, for reasons) and applied some dynamat to the back of it. let's see if that works to cure the vibration problem.
