While it is saddening when a loved one is approaching passing, I know when it is my time I'd prefer it to be a quick affair rather than a lingering one. Alzheimer's is always harder on family. When the moment arrives, may his passing be a peaceful one.

Thanks, guys. He was a really good man and will be missed.

I'm very glad he didn't linger and suffer.

Just got a text - my father-in-law’s youngest sibling passed away this morning. She was just diagnosed with about 4 types of cancer last week. Only the middle two left now.

When it rains, it pours...

I am so sorry to hear of all the bad news for both Leeann and Tom.

I really appreciate having a place here where we have so many friends, and especially those friends who include us in their lives, whether sunshine or rain. Your Jeep family is with you.

Know what you mean, same boat here.
Step Dad went in hospital on Wednesday night, chest pains etc by Thursday they had us sign the paperwork to let him go peacefully. Almost 91, why keep him alive by machines etc. plus he always said let him go when time comes.
But he's still with us this morning yet. Dr. said his heart etc are just wore out and could be today or a week or so .
So spending as much time as I can with him.

I’m glad you can spend time with him until he goes. No regrets.

Insurance guy looked at it today. I was given the option to have them total it. If I did they would value it at $47xx. I would have to buy it back at $3900. Not sure if this is negotiable. If I took the check to fix it I was offered $3400 -$500 deductible. If it was over $3900 it would be totaled no matter what.

I took the check to fix it. The fender and door may be salvageable if I can straighten them. Will need a new hood. Won't be able to tell anything happened when they are fixed/replaced.

Thinking I'm going to look into doing the whole Jeep in a factory blue mixed bed liner. I saw a blue Line-X Wrangler at Jeep Luaua and it was sharp looking.

Except I would most likely use Raptor Liner as that's what I did my interior floors with and Line-X quoted me $5-6000 so f that.

Drove it over to my father-in-law's house. He has declined dramatically since last weekend and hospice has come in.

I would be shocked if he made it to next weekend.

Sorry to hear about your father in-law.

Due to some significant life changes, I drove it for the last time...

What?

Is this a joke? :Insane: Hope all is ok!

I drove it for the last time...

...as a single guy...

...to church...

...and drove it home for the first time as a married man.
