Checked the bolts, because that was my first thought, but they are still on, and torqued, so I'm unsure of what it was..

attempt 3 tday to replace the front left hub. I don't usually by local here in OZ as the price is usually a killer however as this is my DD and without it I can't work I couldn't afford to wait 2 weeks for parts from the US and the price wasn't much different. Attempt 1 saw the part sent to a store 200km away attempt 2 saw the wrong part delivered hopefully the right part comes in today.

2004 3.7 limited

That’s awesome. Didn’t know that either. Located right here in orchard park New York - probably stop by see what the walk-in prices are.
I only stayed for for about a year. The atmosphere near the plating was giving me headaches so I left for hvac training.
Understandable, The fumes surely would not be good long term for you.
Proof that other quality of lugs simply don't cut it....
Even at the point of failure/rounding off... good I replaced them with McGard!

Five years ago today I walked into a dealership and bought it.

Today, I made the very last payment.

Long time no see!

Haven't done much to her but drive a lot.. ready to break 200k in about 9k miles!
Recently replaced the Power Steering Pump and new belt while I was at it- what an easy fix

Today, I changed the front sway bar bushings because the steering is really loose and after changing them, it already feels a bit tighter over small bumps
Hoping to slowly replace end links, LBJs, and whatever else I find that's bad until it's firm again

She seems to burn some oil now though.. last oil change I tried some high mileage full synthetic but it seems to have burnt more than the regular Pennzoil FS after only 2,500 mi :help:

When you switch over to a synthetic oil at higher milage it tends to get past worn rings and such easier than regular oil. Trick is to start with synthetic from the beginning.

When I use regular Pennzoil Full Synthetic it doesn't burn hardly any but last time I used High Mileage Full Synthetic and it burns like crazy
But believe me, if I bought it at low miles I would've always used it.. unfortunately I took possession at ~160k

I got mine at 200K and luckily the only other owner used only synthetic since he drove it off the lot

Installed a Gibson 3 inch muffler. Originally for a Grand Cherokee Chopped it and added 2.5 adaptors on both sides. Sounds like a beast. Love it so far. Did the rear brakes.

Road trip down to North Carolina Wednesday night back today
Not an issue for the old girl.
Did see an 05 Renegade get pulled over for blinding everyone coming at them and having halos on while driving down city streets LOL

Finally got around to plumbing in the radiator trans cooler with the external one. This coupled with the PML pan I put in a few weeks ago should help with temps. (It’s wet because I just hosed all the spilled atf off.)

Replaced shocks, struts and coil springs. And removed the upper rad crossmember, fan, and front sway bar, so I'll hopefully have enough space to swap out the steering rack tomorrow without too many issues.
I had planned on getting it all done today, but it ended up raining most of the morning and afternoon.

Nothing, because it's still at the dealer for repairs. They called me Friday saying they were putting lines back on the ****** and then it was being returned for e-brake replacement. It's been over two weeks since I drove her last and I was just starting to learn to reach for the center console to lower the windows....

Installed new front pads and rotors today. That vibration on high speed braking was getting kind of annoying. Also stuck magnets on the bottom of my ****** and oil pans.

Cool...thanks. Guess I could also contact PML...duh :Insane:

Did you have to move the exhaust out of the way to put it up?

I bought mine from PML: PML Deep Transmission Pan for Chrysler/Dodge 42RLE

My exhaust didn't have to be moved, but I have a 2005 KJ Limited, so yours might be different. I doubt it though. I also installed Skid Row skid plates and didn't have to make any modifications for the PML pan.

used it to bring home 2 12ft 4x4s to build a new hop trellis.

on a side note i am looking at upgrading the transmission cooler because the jeep will be used to tow a 3500# pop up camper and i saw that denso makes a radiator with the build in cooler and wanted to see peoples thoughts on this vs the mopar one. i also thought about just upgrading the factory cooler on the 05 or adding a 2nd inline stacked plate cooler.
