Rebuilt from a wrecked 88 Sport, repainted Sunrise Red Metallic, with red interior. Total pimp-mobile! lol!
331 Stroker with Vortech S-trim
T-5 linked to stock Turbo Coupe 8.8 (for the disc brakes! :))
Shorty headers through 2.5" stainless exhaust
Turbo Coupe Hood and 16" "snowflake" wheels for that sleeper look.
Motorsport 140MPH speedometer ...yes...it would. :icon_cool:

Looks like one I towed from Pittsburgh, Pa to Albany NY a few years back. Nice looking T-Bird. They look good in red/black trim. The KJ pulled it nice on the interstate and I blew past Priuses and such......haha Wish I had a pic.

Put a shirt on!

I did the same debadging myself. Only took the Jeep emblem off. But I did it because my tire cover says Jeep already. :p

Haha I never wear a shirt in the summer, especially when I'm working on the Jeep! And yea my tire cover says Jeep Liberty so I'm set

You got "Jeep Disease".....it's not curable and the only "temporary fix" is to get more "Jeep Stuff"......:smokin:

got it back from the stealer. Didn't realize until I got home that the moron service writer didn't listen to me and they didn't perform a Transmission Quick Learn as I'd asked because I'd replaced the transmission (and told them so). He wrote it up as Recalibrate the Trans Module and it came back as Already has latest software.

Incompetent moron. Just because I'm female doesn't mean I know nothing and I'm speaking just to hear my own voice.

At least they performed the rear lower control arm recall and cut/programmed my second key, right? :mad3:

My new Geolandar H/T-S set came in today. Now to get them mounted/balanced so I can go get a lifetime alignment set up at Firestone...

Metra MDF-6511-2 Chrysler 2007-2012 Direct Fit OE Style Multimedia+Navigation System

it's going to obviously require some customization of the bezel and the radio pocket. I've already test fitted it in the dash and there's enough room to make it work. I just have to figure out how to position it so I can mark the bezel.

I traded it in for a minivan.

bought that to get started on my radio project. needed both because I'm betting the HVAC panel will need some behind the scenes trimming to make enough space.

might have to get one of these too...

just so I can use it to trim out the bezel and get the final position of the radio done up. trying to mock and cut everything up with the new headunit will be... problematic.

Some might even suggest that you turn in your man card for driving a Liberty, you know... ;)

But, hey... what do they know? :D

when whatever they're driving shows up towing 5800# and getting 17mpg then they can insult my man card. otherwise it's :slap:

also I put it back in the tent today. had to use said tent as a makeshift woodshop for some additions to the shed.

True...I sometimes have to defend driving a "girly" Mustang GT convertible with an automatic too....

...until they miss a shift and get a good look at my taillights. :Big Laugh::Big Laugh:

Drove it up on top of a big hill where me and the kids watched fireworks. Quite a few trucks saw me up there and tried to follow suit, but couldn't quite make it. The kids got a real kick out of watching them try. (I did too) drive.gif:Bye:

Nope...'01, but I do have the sequential taillights. :)

Took the Libby out earlier to go scouting for good locations to shoot (camera) fireworks. Ended up having to go into work for a bit. Ran home grabbed the convertible and found a decent place nearby to shoot from.

Took apart the passenger side cv to replace / check the existing intermediate shaft. Shaft still looks new, milling marks on all teeth, had grease and o ring intact. Will likely put the new replacement one in, cv seems fine. Trying to track down a clunk on the passenger side that isn't sway bar related.

Pulled front drive shaft for a while see if it goes away. transfer case cv is good, diff end seems rough when compressed, parts still being shipped will try without.

Painted all metal on passenger side and attempted to remove lower ball joint. putting it in a press on sunday to see if the K3199's fit the 07. Harbor freight ball joint press didn't do anything useful as the stud seems too small for the removal adapter and just pushes on boot.
