you tempt me, sir.
It's gonna go to waste otherwise. I sadly have no place to store it right now.

Anyone tell me what ball joint is in my JBA arm purchased in 2017?
I need one exact replacement (already worn out seems way too soon)
Thanks

Perfect thank you
You’re like me, we pay attention to detail. Have you noticed the moog part doesn’t exactly look like the ones pre installed in the arms ? Mine look like a plain metal finish with a clear coating that peeled off.

https://jbaoffroad.com/jba-upper-ball-joint-k6292.html

That’s the closest looking part to what I have now. The moog in your picture is entirely different. But you and the JBA are saying the same part number. Confused lol

So what my thoughts are the JBA link shows “K6292” that has been ecoated ?
But further reading it says you can rebuild these?
I think I’ll just pull out my ball joint and see if is it rebuild-able.

So basically my older 4.5 arms arrived with standard /basic Moog, & yours must have been supplied with the upgraded /better machined billet ball joints.

Since seeing replies to the EGR valve thread, I looked under my hood to see what one I had and noticed the power wires to the electric radiator fan had come loose and were lying against the serpentine belt. Used some GB ties to secure it away from the belt

Repaired sunroof track seal and washed it-No leaks

Then took the freshly washed Liberty for a driving lesson.

After overheating on the drive home, I had to replace my radiator fan finally, and I didn’t check the fuse beforehand, so I stole one of the other 40a fuses to replace it. Now to get a fuse for my windows and replace my radio that died about 12 hours before the fan.

Experimenting with the diy cold air intake, seems to like the highway a little better, but haven't driven at full highway power yet. Gonna check with my obd this week, see if anything's officially better.

any "gains" you feel now will be learned out by the ECU in short order.

Tends to be an annoying issue, primarily why I have stuck with just K&N Drop In's because those are the only things that offer any permanent gain without needing a tune. Though you can get tunes for Drop In's that really do end up fully maximizing their use.

Replaced both front wheel bearings last night...got 200k out of the OEM ones! The repair went super easy. Took 2 hours for both sides combined.

Nothing with the jeep so far today. It rained hard this morning before I woke up, so I might try some forest roads to test the new tires. I have been sucking water out of my girlfriend's Mariner, though. She forgot her windows last night and the interior got blasted. There was no standing water, though. Fans are blasting.

Took it back to the mechanic to sort out some new issues since the new-ish engine was installed. She seems to stick at 15-16% throttle(12.9% is idle) when cruising, which isn't bad except when you are trying to stop and she wants to keep rolling. They are more than likely going to put my old throttle body back on the engine.

Also, my temps are all over the map(5-10F hotter at normal running and when I stop at a light, the temp rises pretty quick) and I'm leaking near the thermostat housing. Not sure if they maybe put the thermostat in wrong, but they also put green coolant in, and insist it's better than HOAT.

As soon as the leaks are stopped, I might just take it to jeep for a flush and refill.
