Picked up my new to me axle a ford Dana 44 HP. Now to build it and finish my 9 inch then the fun begins.

also Mavis "Discount" Tire is anything but. $766 total for 4 tires, mounted and balanced, with road hazard. That's almost twice as much as the tires alone from any place else practically.

It’s from a 78 with the welded perches not cast. Basically the same Troy used but I think his was 77.

Well sold my 4.10s with Tru Tracs in both ends yesterday
Guy with a CRD that I had lifted wanted 4.10s and lockers
kept bugging me, oilfield worker with plenty of cash to spend
So tore mine out of the 03, installed a spare set of 4.10s that were under the work bench
Tore his down, installed mine in his and will head to the bank on Monday , a bit richer LOL
Had less than 600 in the front and rear so just made little over 2600.00 on the deal

well, I was thinking about it while getting the color coat on the wheels, that for what i've spent so far on stripper, wire wheels, a burned out drill, cleaning alcohol, primer, paint, and of course time, it might have been cheaper to just buy new wheels along with the tires.

I mean, for ~$830...

Just finished upper control arm lower ball joint and tie rod end on the passenger side. Will move to driver side in a week is so. Feels good to be able to do that job with your kid with the help and advice from forum and friends.

Would the Greasable ball joint in Mevotech upper control arm be recommended to the moog nongreasable upper arm? I used all Moog for passenger side but think anything with a grease fitting would be better to those without?

yeah I can’t wait to start but I know I’m still about a year away from from swapping them in. I want to have both axles built and ready before I begin.

Anything greaseable is better than nongreaseable ones, well if you remember to grease them LOL

Well finally Bilsteins are installed. Went with the 1.25' lift on the front end.

Installed a remote start in the 2006 Liberty, one that I had planned to install in my 96 Chevy K1500 before the torque converter went out. I might have to get a couple resistors as I want the parking lamps to show an acknowledgment of when it gets commands and another for remote unlock from the remote start remote.

Well I was building the new front bumper. Front bumper off, grill is off, turn signals off... all I needed to do was get it into mock up to mark where I'm welding the mounts - - - and it snows. sigh.

Slid an oil drain pan under the transmission cooler lines at the front. The old ones finally gave up the ghost this afternoon.

Guess it's finally time to replace them while I do a pan drop and filter change tomorrow. I have OEM Mopar lines and transmission filter on the shelf, just waiting for the right moment.

Just makes mounts like an ARB, nice and strong, no welding , just bolts on

Or simpler yet the Rock Lizard way of mounting his bumpers

Both the 02 and 07 washed, and waxed. I did clay bar both prior to waxing.

Removed the window tint from the front windows of my 07. It was fine when I bought it, it was getting harder to see at night. I think my eyes are getting bad.

Epoxied several cracks in the front grillage....my daughter and her friends like to sit on the hood. Noticed a green fluid on the ground...coolant overflow is definitely not green; last fill was HOAT from the dealer.

Any ideas what is leaking green fluid?
