Got a shipment of RockAuto parts for the Jeep, and ironically enough I got the Liberty collectible magnet in the box as well!
Post pictures of the magnet!
I also got a delivery from Rock Auto this week. My ‘02 got new suspension after spending ~124k miles on stock springs and the original struts and shocks. I did not choose to lift it at this time, since my recently purchased tires are stock sized 235/70-16s. I decided to go with Liberty CRD springs which raised my Jeep a bit. Hub to fender height was 18.75-19” before yesterday, and is measuring 20” now. I assume they’ll compress a little more given some time after installation. The ride is definitely much improved from the old worn out suspension.

Starting with Friday, I got a compression tester shipped in, but then found my old one (and better one) under the bed in my spare bedroom. Also got the Haynes book. Got an oil filter.
Checked out the situation on the water pump. The mechanical fan and clutch are missing. I can add them. I see the threads on the front of the water pump.
Measured the height on the trailer I plan to get for the ATV. I still can't tell if I need the 2" or 4" drop for it, from the receiver, to the hitch height.
Tested the 110 socket at the back of the center console. Nothing. May be a fuse. Where would the inverter be? Do they put the plug even if you don't have the inverter?
Got a Harbor Freight (blue, to match the Jeep) 3 ton jack. Sorta heavy so I also get a hand cart to roll it around with. I know it has wheels but it won't roll on those on the gravel parts of my driveway.
I got the 6 ton jack stands. I did not want to put those puny little 2 ton jack stands I use on my Honda under the Jeep. I originally got the 3 ton Black Jack jack stands, but then saw (the box) for the 6 ton Black Jack jack stands and decided those were what I want. Now I don't know. They are huge monsters. But I do like the idea of getting the Jeep way up in the air to work under it. My plan is front and rear diffs, transfer case, engine oil and transmission oil and filter. And all 4 tires off to rotate and check brakes and bearings.
I've seen these LubeLocker gaskets. I'm going to get those for the rear diff and trans.
When I'm underneath I'll inspect more fully everything under there. And then start considering TomMudds ideas about springs and shocks.
Ordered hydraulic props for back (rear end) window.
Watched videos on opening up the doors. Passenger side door doesn't lock with the driver's side button or remote. I'll open it up to see if I can find the issue before I order the parts.
Found that the key doesn't work in the door lock. I'll open that door and take out the tumbler and get someone to change it to work with the key.
We still have plenty of cold weather here to go, so I can do most of these things, go out and work for an hour a day. I'm not missing any nice trips. Yet.

I got a truck load of rock auto parts on my one car. think they'll make one for me?
Not my jeep, but came in an order of mine.
If I remember you submit pictures and a story to rockauto, and they may pick you to go on one of their magnets.
@David13, the inverter unit on the 08 KK is under the rear passenger’s seat.
Check the connections there, but also in the back of the center console where the outlet is. Under the hood, the inverter fuse is socket M5 and it should be a 25 amp.
Hate to suggest this, but you did push the inverter button on the center stack under the climate controls to turn it on, yes? Did the LED turn on and did you hear the solenoid engage?

Put the battery charger on it.
I want to do a compression test next, but the weather is just too cold for it (working outside). Next week is supposed to be colder still. So maybe I just have to wait a few weeks.
I'm getting all I need for getting it up off the ground and then replacing all fluids (atf and filter, oil and filter, front and rear diff and transfer case). Bigger jack, bigger jack stands.
As to the inverter, no, I didn't know there was a switch on the dash, makes sense. I'll try that yet and the fuse.
This is my 4th winter here (Utah, from Los Angeles) and about the coldest and most snow. Once I get better weather and all work done on the Jeep I can devote myself to further exploration of the mountains around here on the ATV and further away with the Jeep pulling the ATV on a trailer.
And an occasional motorcycle ride. Motorcycling was what got me here in the first place.

Removed LED interior bulbs (192's) that would never go out completely. Tried the most expensive ones found and they also would not completely go out in our 2005 Liberty Rocky Mountain Edition. Tried the add a resistor but that didn't work either.
Never thought that installing blue LED dome lights would be such a hassle. For whatever reason they will not work in our Liberty. XXXXX
Back to the not so bright standard bulbs.

Recieved my Teraflex Bumpstops from Quadratec - caught them while they’re in stock. Rest of the lift will be easy to find. For some reason the bumpstops are hard to come by. Really only quadratec still sells them.

Tested battery voltage. To see how fast it goes down. It's fairly fast, with all the electric and electronic junk on the Liberty.
Got the wrenches I need to change the plugs I got yesterday.
Too cold to do it today. Well, I wasn't in the mood. Sunday, as it's supposed to be a bit warmer.

Get your battery load tested. There could be a parasitic drain, however -6F Cold weather really does effect batteries greatly if left outside.
At 40%- voltage is 11.9 with a good battery.
AGM batteries are better in the cold. I use a C-Tek 4.3 amp trickle charger to keep them up to speed in the cold.
