Just thought I would share my 6,000k HID headlights. Many people say that HIDs blind oncoming traffic but I have had no issues. I have them aimed down low enough to where I have plenty of light on the road but I am not blinding anyone. I noticed while aiming them, that you would have to be almost laying down on the ground to be blinded by the HIDs. No car is going to ever be that low. They give me a clear view at night without the scatter or glare that people claim to have on here. They look great with my LED fogs and light bar. You can refer to my pics- the before, after, as well as the light distribution from inside the cab. (Obviously, pics don't nearly do them justice).
*I would recommend installing HIDs if you're wanting considerably more light output. That being said, I would never recommend getting anything higher than 6,000k, or at the most 8,000k. Any higher and you're just asking for trouble from cops and the blue hue makes it harder to see. I would appreciate it if people that are against HIDs, to not comment about poor or uneven light output, because my HIDs are 10x brighter and more full than any Sylvania, Philips, PIAA, etc. If you're interested in where I got mine, just ask ! The company I bought the kit from sells high quality products for a very affordable price. Thanks !
