I was getting about 20-21 mpg in my 05. That would be around 410 per tank. I usually filled up at a bit over 350.
My 02 was lucky to get 16-17 mpg same route. I would usually fill up around 250 in that one.
Tom is right BTW. ;) As usual.
If my memory is correct the 05-07 had a 20.5 gallon tank. I know my 05 had the 20.5. The 02-03 had an 18.5 gallon tank and I think the 04 had a 19.5, Weird isn't it. Must be a Jeep thing.
KKs were all 19.5 I believe.
Do a compression test. If the valve isn't closed for any reason it won't give compression. If you get good compression then it's probably just a collapsed or bad lash adjuster. If you pull all the plugs and rotate the crank at the crank pulley then you can watch the cam do its job. The exhaust...
I was assuming it was a recall of the old recall. That is, the module replacement from the old recall was found not to work properly.
Maybe the OP can clarify.
I'm with Tom, it wouldn't stop me from driving it. I've driven plenty without but they do serve a purpose when working correctly. I guess if you're afraid of deployment, you could just remove the relay or connector to stop them from ever getting energized. You'll likely get a warning light but...
Well that sucks. I sort of wondered if this would happen at some point. I'm wondering if there will be some cutoff where they will just say they can't help. It is possible that they just don't have the ones needed in stock or available. That would be the question you should ask them.
My...
I found this out in my 02 many years ago. The tstat is an item that I try to use the OE versions in all my vehicles. Maybe superstition in some cases but they always work.
Resting at 12.3V would be marginal. A good battery should be 12.6 or higher if fully charged. Your alternator reading sounds good so I'd say you are right to get the battery tested. You could run it a bit or charge it fully, then disconnect the cables and check it next day too. If it stays at...
Hmmm, I don't remember either side being difficult. You should mess with a FWD Pentastank. Can't even change the plugs without removing the intake and many other things.
