After two years of fighting warranty work and bad parts! I dropped her off for hopefully the final time to have the head fixed. This time it’s an exhaust valve.

I got her back today, new water pump and plugs to go with it. Runs like a champ again, let's hope ATK sent a good one this time!

And you just described why I'm pretty much of the mindset of, if I can't fix it, it don't get fixed.
Finding a good, reliable, honest, trustworthy shop has gotten to be nearly impossible.

Same with me,
none of mine have been in any kind of a shop except for alignments since I bought them
even tires I haul into shop in trailer for them to change
04 had a couple of recalls , rear LCAs for example, I took a bad set in and exchanged them for new ones, ball joints, years ago same did them and turned in bill LOL

Agreed, I fully trust my mechanic, and he went to bat for me with ATK and I’m sure ate some of the Labor charges since ATK doesn’t reimburse at the shop rate. I do most of my stuff but I don’t have a good place to do heads.

@tommudd I do the same for tires.
Nearly every vehicle I have has at least 2 sets of wheels, so it's never a problem.

since I bought the KJ in March last year I've done a few oil changes (duh) all the suspension, alignment which I waited too long a trashed the front tires, brakes all the way around and led swap on it. The stock lights were awful and seemed to want to be hunting for raccoons in the trees where they didn't illuminate the road at all but the fogs did. Now I got it fixed and the LED's work great and no scattering and blinding people plus I can see. The next thing I need to do is get a new windscreen because it's pitted up pretty good. I just rolled over 211k on mine and the billy goat seems to love it.

Never have I seen any LEDs in the stock housings that did not scatter light everywhere. Stock housings just are not meant for anything but stock type bulbs

Drove it for the first time in three weeks. Went to the doc for my leg, which not so coincidentally is what I was doing the last time I drove it. As I slid into the driver's seat she gave me this "do I know you?" look. I may have to buy her some flowers to get out of this one.

I feel sooooooo stupid. I've had two blown bulbs, the front driver side driving light and the rear driver light. I ruled them out as being fuse related because when I look at the front of her, the right hand light is blown and when I look at her from behind, it's the left side light, and those are two different sides. I was driving when I realized that they are the same side when I'm inside.

Replaced fuse #23 and they're both shining bright.

Not stupid at all, well maybe a bit BUT work in a dealership for a while, then you will realize what stupid really means LOL

I don't need to learn about that level of stupid. I'd much rather remain ignorant.

had the front brake lines replaced after the driver side line decided to spray fluid in the shopping plaza and leave me with rather soft brakes. Got to show the kids how to drive it to the shop using the parking brake....and installed front tow hooks

Does the fact that I only realized there was a fuse puller on the panel AFTER I had dug through the back for a pair of hemostats count?

Drove the Mrs and I up to the ski hill yesterday in wintery conditions. This thing drives Soo good. Came home tired and left the snowboards locked to the rack only to find the cross bars and boards missing this morning. I guess I get to build up some crossbars and buy new snowboards.
