Drove the Mrs and I up to the ski hill yesterday in wintery conditions. This thing drives Soo good. Came home tired and left the snowboards locked to the rack only to find the cross bars and boards missing this morning. I guess I get to build up some crossbars and buy new snowboards.

I added a 3” dryer vent between the grill and air box. I’ll try and get pictures in the day light. I cut a hole in the front of the stock box, fit a flange through it and used a hose clamp on the vent. I cut a hole in the rubber seal next to the radiator and ran the vent through there with another flange. I drove it around the block and it feels snappier, the true test is taking it to town.
I got the idea from old posts. The pictures were no longer available but I’m happy with the way it turned out!
Happy Jeeping!
took it to the local hand car wash that explicitly lists a plow & truck special.
$15 gets you:
pressure pre-rinse
mop soaping
hand mitt washing
pressure post-rinse (wands)
pressure post-rinse (ring)
blow dry
hand dry
$5 extra for pressure wash undercarriage
they scrubbed the jeep and the plow. for $20 it was totally worth it NOT having to do it myself. I'd probably do a more thorough job myself, but would take 10x as long or more, and I'd be freezing my rump off doing it. For a post-storm cleanup, it should be more than enough to get the salt off.
