Need help, replacing manual seats with power seats

Another engine swap question.....
You left out money. The main problem is trying to shove 2nd gen CAN bus engine and computers into a PCI bus vehicle and make it all work correctly. It would be easier to install it in OLD vehicle that doesn't have modern electronics at all. Even putting newer CAN bus stuff into an older CAN...- 04Liberty

Seat removal airbag concern
No you don't need to disconnect the battery if you're just removing them (unless the seats themselves have airbags) BUT DO NOT turn the key on (power the bus) while the seats are out. If it's the 45RFE yes. If it's the 42RLE no. The manuals I'm not sure about, but most likely not. Depending on whether it comes out of a pre-eagle car or truck, that's 375 to 390 lb-ft on the stock cam.- 04Liberty
