    Live data p0172 p0175

What engine do you have? -32% means the PCM thinks things are too rich and it's trying to remove fuel to compensate. There's a number of things that can cause a rich condition that you can google. The O2 sensors may also be faulty making the PCM think there's a problem when there really isn't...

You might want to have your alignment checked.

    Brake getting hot

I had the same problem, but on the right rear. I posted the problem on here and someone mentioned even a freely sliding piston in the caliper can get hung up. Just to save myself possible extra work later on, I replaced both the hose and the caliper on that side at the same time and the problem...

    Key fob issue

A PIN number is typically needed (on at least some year Liberties) in order for a locksmith or the stealership to make a unique (non-cloned) key. A locksmith with could tell you whether a PIN is needed when s/he plugs in their device to the OBD port and attempts to match a properly chipped key...

    O2 Sensor?

You can swap right and left rear sensors, clear codes and see if the high volt code moves, too. If it does, you know it's the sensor. Unless you have inspection concerns or want to ensure the cat is doing its job on that side, you could just ignore it, also, as that sensor is mostly just for...

Almost stalling at idle, 2x random misfire codes + rich exhaust bank 1. Need direction.

Excellent advice. What brand O2s did you use? NTK are the only ones you should use. Anything else could set you up to chase ghosts. Rich conditions rarely cause misfires, so your 2 codes may be unrelated to each other. Does the CEL blink at all when driving?

    Dropped Valve Seat

Hope the shop knows what they're doing and they don't fall out on you again.

Rust hole in the floor. 2006 Liberty.

you could also cut the rust out and lay down some fiberglass cloth.

Check Engine Light with Code P0117. Doesn't appear to be overheating, and temp gauge seems to be working fine.

Might not hurt to take a resistance reading on the sensor and compare that to the new one you get, providing both have sat at the ambient temperature for a while, of course. When I took resistance readings on mine a while back, it was 8.13kohm @ ~80 degrees F and 0.8kohm fully warmed up.

    2006 Liberty no start (complicated)

Just some random thoughts and questions here: You said the immobilizer light flashed on, off, then came on solid. Do you know why that happened or did you try using a different key at the time? What do you mean when you say you replaced the "electronic ignition"? When you installed the new PCM...

    Need advice - unexplained missfires

Short term fuel trim (STFT) should (ideally) switch quickly between - and + 5% at idle. Long term fuel trim (LTFT) should (ideally) be close to 0% at idle. A 0 fuel trim, I would think, means the PCM isn't commanding the injectors on at all. Did you take the reading while the engine was running?

2003 Liberty 2.4L Stalling after recent work done

As stated, a leak down test should be performed to narrow down the cause. The problem could be something relatively simple. The shop should have known this already instead of jumping right to the tear-down idea.

2003 Liberty 2.4L Stalling after recent work done

Perhaps you have a vacuum leak of some sort causing the problem. Could be in the EVAP system. I would scan for codes and also check live data and fuel trims while I was in there, too.

    Need advice - unexplained missfires

The hissing could be a vacuum leak or a leak in the intake somewhere. Does your engine use a MAF sensor? I know the 3.7s only have a MAP. Are you able to read fuel trim data?

    Cooling fan questions

The condenser fan is supposed to come on when the ac is turned on. Unless there's sufficient airflow going through the condenser from something like steady cruising on a highway, the ac will struggle to "remove heat" from the cabin, especially if it's a hot day out. None of the lines will be...

Anyone just driving with the ABS/ESP/Traction control christmas tree

A speed sensor itself is replaceable, but if the problem lies within the trigger wheel, the entire bearing needs to be replaced. The speed sensor's signal can be checked with an appropriate scan tool or an oscilloscope. With the oscilloscope, you typically compare the sensor's output signal of...

Help me fit in my Jeep. Don't want to buy another car! I'm super tall

I'm 6ft and it's a tight fit for me in the driver's seat, so I feel what you're saying. Matters are even worse in the front passenger's seat, especially with that dumb bar above the glove box. I always have felt power seats seem to limit the amount of fore/aft adjustment even more.

2004 liberty no crank. Please help

As stated, you probably have high resistance somewhere in the circuit, either on the power or ground side. Doing a voltage test with the circuit unloaded- as it sounds like you did- can be misleading as you'll get the voltage you're looking for, yet the load still won't work. Billwil is right...

    2003 3.7L - RPM drop when throttling

I'm not sure what that info you posted is. Live data parameter ID's such as short term/long term fuel trim, IAT, RPM, MAP value, load %, that sort of thing I was talking about. Any freeze frame info might be helpful, as well.

power steering - trying to find leak (new pump)

There are dyes available that you can add to the fluid of your choice (antifreeze, motor oil, trans fluid, etc) then use a black light to illuminate once it starts leaking out. I've never used one, but it sounds like it could be a godsend on a tough to trace leak,
