I also bought a Walker replacement tailpipe a few years ago and it looked like junk. As soon as I took it out of the packaging I got online and started the return. I set them next to each other and the bends were way off and the metal itself looked extremely cheap
Mines been bouncing around worse than when it was stock with OME/Bilstein lift. I’ve just ignored it by this point. Honestly should’ve went with a cheap lift kit since I barely ever drive it anyway and the ride is worse than before after getting basically the “best” one. Wait until you hit deep...
NGK 6987. Makes it run much better. I had an issue before where if the Jeep was warm and I shut it off, then came back to start it up again it would sputter and not start unless I pressed the gas first. Now it fires up every time
It does seem to have fixed the issue. It runs better and doesn’t die so that’s a good sign!
A more thorough drive tomorrow should tell me if it did indeed fix it or not, but they clearly needed changed anyway
As stated in the “What did you do to your Jeep today” thread, it seems to run fine now with new plugs. I’ll do a more thorough drive tomorrow and make sure, but I’m hoping it’s fixed. They were in extremely bad shape
I agree lol. I cleaned all of the gunk out and put in new coil packs, hopefully it seals a little better! I’m surprised it ran as good as it did until I got my other car and it sat.
I have 31s and it’s driveable but don’t expect to have anywhere close to the same amount of power as stock
I can still spin the rear tires but getting onto the freeway is a struggle to say the least- mainly because I don’t put the pedal to the floor but it’s needed pretty much from 60 mph+...
Changed these crusty, junk Champion plugs. Who knows when these were put in, but I’m glad they’re gone.
I thoroughly cleaned everything before re installing the plugs and packs. Hopefully this fixes my issue of it dying randomly.
Also, I highly recommend this socket to add to your set for...
Changed the oil in the KJ and went to take it for a spin. All seemed ok until I went to back it up into the garage and it limped until it died and for some reason the oil light came on (never does). Tried starting it again and nothing, so I put my foot on the gas and it started but eventually...
Highly doubt it. I put one on my ‘12 Challenger RT but only because the 5.7 has a big issue with sending a lot of oil into the intake- where some have been FULL of oil
Didn’t want to take a chance so I put one on from SpeedLogix and it works great. Empty every oil change and clean it and it’s...
Without being able to swap to SFA I’d say your best bet would be to find something new to wheel
I don’t even off road mine and I’m replacing stuff left and right so I would’ve already done scrapped it if I took it off-roading and had as many issues as you have :happy175:
You can do some stuff...
No issues with mine
The only mod I had to do was to cut the locking ring for the back of the headlight because I couldn’t get it to lock properly but once it’s locked in it doesn’t budge
It’s all one assembly when you receive them and very small profile unlike the HID style ballasts.
