Nope. I thought that the thermostat will either be stuck open or close. Could the thermostat cause this? Picture attached.Have you replaced the thermostat?
Nope, still originalJust wondering if a lower temperature thermostat had been fitted.
I don’t see a problem there.Hi, my Liberty 3.7L 2006 engine temperature gauge is always slightly lower than middle. Any suggestions on possible causes
Thanks for the advise, I assumed the gauge is very accurate. I'll measure get an IR temp gun and also verify real temp with diagnostic tool.I don’t see a problem there.
Those are not the most accurate gages. I have an IR temp gun that I use when I want to know for real. Has a lot of uses. Block temp. Rotor temp - when you are looking for a caliper that hangs up once in a while.
Why do you think it is low?
Thanks, for letting me know. That’s where my gauge always sits. Normal operating temperature.
